We decided to replace our 22 year old GE gas range; not because it stopped working, but because it was getting hard to keep it clean. After researching all of the different brands, we decided to go with this GE unit for a number of reasons. First, we wanted to keep our kitchen with white appliances. There are mostly stainless steel units available now, with limited white ones in stock. (As it was, we ordered this before Thanksgiving and finally received it on 1/28) The features and ratings had a lot to do with our decision too. We don't need air fry or convection, but wanted a self-cleaning reliable stove. Also, with the bad reputation of appliances coming out of the Far East, we liked the fact that this one is manufactured in Mexico. The size, 5.0 Cu. Ft. is plenty for our needs, being larger than the unit it replaced. The 5 burners, as opposed to the 4 that the prior unit had is an added bonus. One appealing feature is that the cast iron grates cover the entire top of the store and the stove itself looks to be very easy to keep clean. These grates are virtually slip proof, meaning the pots and pans stay where they are while cooking with them. The only negative comment I can make is that this stove comes with a center griddle, as opposed to a standard grate. While the griddle may be used some day, I have already ordered the grate to put in the middle and will save the griddle. Personally I would have offered this stove with the center grate and had the griddle as an additional option. Also there is no broiler pan included, but I guess that is par for the times. So far, this GE gas range is working perfectly and we are extremely happy with our purchase. Best Buy made it so easy to purchase on-line, have it delivered, installed and the old one carted away, for an extra cost of course. But the delivery service was one of the best we have ever had. They communicated properly, did a fast and efficient job and were very careful not to damage the stove when installing it. I highly recommend this GE gas range, along with the related delivery service offered by Best Buy.

When you set pre-heat or the timer and when ready there is barley a beep. Don't know thy expect people to hear this even being in the same room, it is redicilous . Haven't really had much of a chance to check all the features out yet .I am sure the one I purchased had an air fryer but this one does not???

Great overall value for a beautiful oven! You can’t find anything else that’s as good.

It “Works”, unlike my old one. It does exactly what it states it does. Oven temperature is spot on. Not sure what more you could ask from a stove.
