This washing machine has all the bells and whistles. I can see why it rates so highly as one of the top washing machines on the market today. I love the liquid detergent capacity. Just pour a whole bottle in and forget about it until the washer lets you know it's running low. The anti-microbial film makes sure there's no mold build up that's common on most front loading washers. There's also a vent function that drys out the inside of the washer, but it needed like 8 hours to complete, so I'm not sure what's going on with that. Just leaving the door open for an hour or so saves energy and has the same effect. It doesn't look overly blue online, but it definitely is more blue in person. I like the color a lot, but some may want the more traditional black, gray, or white look.

It's only been with us for a couple of weeks, but this washing machine has so far been a reliable workhorse for our family of 7. We'd also been looking at the LG and Samsung models, but they were getting a little long in the tooth (3+ years) and this GE model had some new tech which was intriguing to me. Originally I was concerned about its size since it is smaller than the one it was replacing, but it has handled our largest loads with ease so far. The auto detergent dispenser is also great - it figures out how much detergent to use much more scientifically than when I do it myself - I think my clothes are actually cleaner. I gave it 4/5 for ease of use because setting up the WiFi was a little tricky. I am fairly technical and made my way through it ok, but I can see less technical people not finding it easy. But once it is connected, the app and notifications are actually much more useful than I ever imagined. Quite honestly I didn't think I'd ever care to know my real-time washing status and usage history. Wife loves the color (we got blue) and it has held up to the scratching of baskets and other stuff that we usually end up storing on top. Overall highly recommended

Needed a new washer and dryer for a set that was probably over 10 years old. We needed a capacity upgrade and also wanted to get some new features. The steam settings are nice but the microban seal and the autovent are really nice. They keep the washer dry and clean after use and prevent it from molding or smelling bad. I also like the automatic detergent dispenser. You fill up the dispenser and it claims it will give the right amount per load and should do up to 40 loads before needing to be refilled. We were using pods so waiting till thise run out to switch back to liquid. Overall, a great washer and dryer and I really like the blue color.

This Sapphire blue is a beautiful washer, and it works great! We purchase the matching dryer, and we love them both. We love the Ultra fresh vent and the Microban antimicrobial seal on the washer. No odors so far. Our favorite feature is the Smart dispenser. No adding detergent every time you wash a load. It dispenses the liquid detergent to the wash for you. We have filled the dispenser once and we have washed 10 loads so far without having to refill it. It holds a lot. This is an awesome washer. We highly recommend it.

We love this machine so far, only one month. It cleans very well and can hold a lot more laundry compared to my previous LG. The auto dispense detergent function is great as well. The only con for someone might be that it can be semi noisy during spin if they have to have it centrally located in the open.

I love this machine! Cleans the laundry really well and the drying feature will hopefully keep it smelling fresh. Live the color and the inside lights. Very quiet. Wish the alarm was louder when kids is done but not a big deal.

This is the first washing machine that I ever had an issue with. Exactly one day after the 1 year warranty expired, it left the laundry wet after the spinning cycle. I regularly clean the lint tray and when I opened it to see if there was a blockage, water gushed out. I did not find any blockage. I called the service department and they told me they can dispatch a technician but I have to pay for it. Now after every wash, the laundry is wet and smells bad and I have to let the water out of the lint tray and unfortunately, it is so low to the ground, you cannot fit a bowl underneath and it dumps the water all over the floor, which is annoying. I put it in storage as I have moved temporarily and use the rental unit machine, which works great, but I am moving to a permanent location had have to use it again. This machine has a high price tag and I don't feel like having to pay a mechanic to come out and pay to fix it. One year warranty is not enough, in European countries they come with 3 years. I would not buy this machine again.

After struggling for years with older washers that left the clothes questionably clean this GE washer has been a Dream! With the little time I’ve owned it I can see a big difference. It’s easy to use all the functions and there is no need to time the soap and softener dispensing as it does it all on its own. The light function is great to see what’s going on. It definitely uses less water than the top loading washers I’ve had before which is a big plus. It does need some stable ground as it wiggles around a bit more with bigger loads. It have heard a slight bell sound as some other reviews had mentioned but it’s nothing unbearable and barely noticeable.

We've owned this washer since May 2023 and we LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT so much. I love the self drying mode to avoid mold and the stinky smell. I love that I can fill the tank with detergent (although I wish i could do the same with the softener). I love that the app tells me when the washer is done. I was floored when I realized it had a 1 step wash and dry, although it does take like 7 hours to complete (so for small loads only) but has a mom of little kids, its super handy if i need to wash their blanket and make sure its dry by the time we get back home. These machines are also super quiet and I love that I can turn the internal light on and off. It handles my king size comforter very well too ! I am super duper happy with this purchase. The best buy installers were also super professional !

Large, large, large capacity. It manages my bedding with ease and there is still a lot of room left in the drum. The only thing I don't care for (but can simultaneously still appreciate its purpose) is the 8hr UltraFresh vent cycle. An 8hr cycle to dry the basin?? I like that I get an Alexa alert, and text message, to notify me when my load is 5mins from being done and again once it is complete. I also like the automatic soap dispenser. It helps save time from having to do that minor extra step. One warning, when pouring bleach in the bleach reservoir, make sure the door is fully closed because the bleach immediately flows into the tub.

Sadly, we have replaced this machine's mixing valve 3 times since purchasing this washer 7 months ago. If not for Best Buy's and GE's excellent customer service and extended warrantys cover the cost of repairs, we would've been extremely upset and disappointed. This washing machine replaced our 15+ year old Whirlpool front loader washer (which had zero issues). We are skeptical this machine's will last as long, but we're enjoying all the features this washer has to offer. On a positive note this washer machine has exceeded our set exception so far. We love the antimicrobial features and hardware to protect mold/bacteria growth. Our clothes, towels, and eta come out clean and smelling fresh everytime...We are seeking to purchase the matching GE dryer model house hold aesthetics and performance. I hope this feedback helps the next first time washer buyer or home owner!

Excellent washing machine. Have used it for 3 weeks. Large capacity that easily washes a king quilt and the spin cycle is efficient with even a full load of towels. The automatic dispensing of laundry detergent is also very convenient and economical. Only issue we have had was trying to wash a rubber backed bathmat that seemed to throw off the sensors as it held on to a lot of water during the wash, but once we manually removed the water from the mat the spin cycle was able to remove all the rest of the excess water. Would highly recommend this machine! Noise level is pretty low considering the speed of the spin cycle. The app is also useful to remind you there is still washing in the machine if you forget.

First new washer in 14 years. Last one was a front load also, but left a lot to be desired. Lots of improvements. I like the vent dry after a washing cycle that helps prevent the mold and stink that the last washer had no matter what you did. Also like the dispenser for laundry detergent - you can fill it with 50 oz and the washer automatically dispenses it based on the weight of the load. Capacity is about half again as big as the old one too. So far, no negatives, just positives.

Fits alot of laundry. I like the vent so i can close the door and not worry about a mildew smell after wash is done. However, unfortunately it is LOUD. If you do the quick wash with a smaller amount of clothes it doesnt spin good enough. I end up having to do a spin cycle as well after the quick wash. It does have a cool soap holder inside that you can fill up and jt will dispense every cycle amount needed and lets you know when the reservoir needs filling.

For the most part the washer does a great job, but there are a couple issues. I’ve owned the machine for about a month and on two occasions the wash cycle wouldn’t end. The fist time the load was particularly heavy so I assumed user error. More recently this never-ending cycle kicked in with a few hand towels. Another “issue” is the self-drying feature: this takes several hours. I don’t know that simply leaving the door open and allowing it to air dry is not a better solution. I like the machine but in retrospect, I would’ve purchased the middle model in the range. This one is a bit overpriced considering you get most of the feature with the lower model.

Love the washer and dryer, both have steam features and the washer can sanitize, lots of settings for both wash ans dry. Two drawbacks, you have to have it on high spin for towels otherwise they are soaked and on the pedistal the washer shakes like crazy with heavy loads. The dryer is perfect as is, the washer cleans clothes really well.

This is the best washer I have ever owned. It replaces a 10 year old front loader. Great capacity; gentle with all fabrics; the vent system will completely dry the interior if you cannot leave the door open: seems yo have solved the mold problem. Very happy I went with the GE.
