He also said someone went wrong with the item to remove the old range. He told me he would call me back today with an appointment date which he did not do. He also said my brother & dad will have it taken care of. I rather the delivery guys go back & haul the old range away.

The workers are wonderful any way so grateful.

Great oven

You could not see into the oven unless you opened it, it did not have any nifty features and for the most part served it's purpose. I was due for an upgrade. Not only did I catch this range on sale but I love the sleek black look, the ease of cleaning it and how fast it cooks food thoroughly. I can turn on the oven light to see how the food is cooking without opening the oven. The only downside would be the timer. I can't seem to get that thing right.

Stainless around the sides of the drawer were not finished off - sharp, rough edges edges. Pulling out the drawer was difficult as there was no weight to the drawer, and it didn't slide easily on the tracks. The stainless surfaces in general difficult to clean. Not an anti-fingerprint surface. "Buttons" in the middle of the coils turn off when a pan is lifted and start again when the pan is replaced - per GE there is no work around for this.

It's nice that the burners are raised a bit higher than the top of the stove, to encourage drips to drip outside of the heat ring. It makes cleaning it really easy.

While it is an older style of electric stove, it can't shatter when something is dropped on it like our old glass top one did!

Then, spread a few drops of ceramic cooktop cleaner on the entire burned area, and use a non-scratch cleaning pad to rub the residue area.
