It's a lemon!

Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a GE electric stove in my previous rented apartment, so when I bought a condo it was an easy choice to buy one myself. Lo and behold, after less than 5 months, the "hot stove" light short circuited and caused a massive electric short which burned out the light and one of the burners. For about a month, we couldn't use the stove at all because every time we turned it on, power would turn off in the whole house. GE sent a third-party technician to diagnose it. He ordered a few parts, and then came back to replace them a couple weeks later. Sounds like an easy fix, right? Well, he's here right now as I write this, and the replacement parts don't work, which means there's something seriously wrong somewhere else in the appliance. He's been on hold with GE support for forty-five minutes and they aren't even answering the phone. Apparently I bought a lemon. VERY dissatisfied. GE's going to have to make this right.
