Didn't even think about this when we ordered the range. Previous GE range had this feature which was appreciated. Delivery was on-time and the install and haul-away went forward without any issues. A great bunch of guys. Professional and respectful of our property.

We tried the slide in but having the controls on top of the stove, posed a problem. Accidentally changed the clock and turned the oven on when reaching to the cabinet above the range. We decided to return and get the stand alone version.....we like the control panel on the slide in better, however the location was terrible. So far the range is great.

I waited two years to get one when I bought my house. I didn’t want one that had a lot of bells and whistles. This one is perfect for me. I do like the light for the oven though. I may be getting spoiled. Lol

I prefer gas, but had to go with electric in this instance. Keeping the flat top clean can be a chore, but the other features of the stove are excellent. Would definitely recommend for those looking for an electric flat top.

Push button oven light - say it's not so

The glass top should be smudge proof. Storage drawer is adequate. Burners and oven heat up quickly.
