On large eyes, you can cook with smaller pan in the middle or with entire larger portion if you need it. Guess my old stove was pretty old! Great oven too

It works perfect, easy to operate and looks fab in my new kitchen! The ventahood is a different brand but matches just fine! So glad I shopped around and Best Buy had the best deals!

After just using 1 time on Dec 31, 2 burners were scratched up from my cookware. My cookware was one of the “approved” kind for use with glass cooktops. I reached out to GE to let them know my concerns and was told by a rep that this is normal since its glass and nothing they can or will do. I had a stove before this one that was also glass topped that lasted me 20 years with minimal scratches. Be warned, this cooktop will scratch and make your whole stove look bad. Very dissatisfied

Both front burners have a small and large burner and depending on which way you dial the heat depends what burner you use. Once the burners have bern used the stove looks terrible as you can see from the pictures. I have not used the oven portion as of yet.

It is not unusual for food soils from cooking various foods or even boiling water to leave some deposits or residue on the cooktop surface. We do offer very specific information on the best cleaning methods for your glass cooktop. Please see Page 20 for the details --
