Range top broke twice in less than a year, poor quality.

This flat top stove looks great and made my kitchen look new again..it gets hot quickly and has a light that comes on to let you know the stove is hot and when you turn it off this light doesn’t go off until it has cooled down. Self cleaning, easy to use- good buy

I replaced my old coil-top electric stove with this classy range from GE, a trusted brand for any home. I'm so pleased with how it looks and works! The black and stainless combination blend in so well with my other stainless appliances, and the smooth cooking surface is very sleek. The knobs and buttons are clearly labeled, which make the range very easy to use. Be sure to pick up a great product for cleaning the glass cooktop (I use one by Weiman). Lastly, delivery, installation, and haul away from the Best Buy contractor was efficient and professional.

I have not been using it long, but I had one like it years ago from another manufacturer, so I am familiar with how to take care of this type of range. After two weeks, I have used almost every feature except the self cleaning cycle. It is so easy to keep clean, but it is necessary to wipe it down on a regular basis. Make sure the bottom of the pots and pans you will be using on the stovetop are clean before you use them. Part of any oil or burnt on food will be transferred from the utensil to the burner surface. I was a little disappointed that I did not get a small bottle of ceramic stovetop cleaner with it. Nevertheless, I found that a microfiber cloth and dishwater does a great job of cleaning a cool top. I rinse it out with fresh water and wipe it again and then dry it with a paper towel or a clean dish towel. The whole process takes less than one minute. A quick wipe down of the front keeps it looking nice too. I love the way that the heat is so evenly distributed by the ceramic top. I no longer have the hotspots that burn food sometimes. The controls are simple and user-friendly. I got a stove top extender from Ace Hardware online. It has a magnetic strip that holds it to the side of the range and covers the gap between the appliance and the countertop. It is the perfect accessory.

Cant say enough good about my new stove. Heats up so fast, easy to clean & very classy look. Service & delivery from Best Buy was excellent.

Replaced an old GE coil top style electric range. Frankly, other than the more modern look here, I preferred the old one. We've had this now a few months. The glass top has many scratches in it. We use the same Farberware stainless steel pots/pans with aluminum bottoms we always used, but any sliding of a filled pot may well scratch the glass. We have used the Weiman cooktop cleaners and polishes, but while the surface cleans up well, the scratches sure make it look old. Not sure if all glass tops are so vulnerable, but this is unsightly after just a few months. The range looks much older than it is. Second issue is when trying to use a low temperature on the surface burners. The lowest temperature on the front large burners is still hot enough to keep things boiling. We were used to low meaning "simmer," here low is not low enough. We end up having to move a pot 2/3 of the way off of the burner. And don't slide it or you'll scratch the surface. Third issue is a design flaw in my opinion. The two large burners are side by side in front. My older stove had them diagonally from each other - one in front and one in the rear. If you need to use two large pots or pans on the two large front burners, they may not fit well. And if they do, good luck getting access to the small burners in the back without a rather inconvenient and somewhat perilous reach over the front pans. Inside baking and broiling seem fine. LED controls are limited but adequate. When timer is running, the temperature display is no long visible. The bottom drawer is some what smaller than other models so not everything we stored in the old one fits in this one. Stainless steel does show fingerprints but there are cleaners for that. All in all, I'd give it a fair rating, but the surface scratching is my biggest complaint. Would I buy this same one again? Probably not, if there were other choices in the same general price range that matched the other new appliances

I ordered a four piece appliance set and truly am in love with all the pieces. This has lots of room inside and the glass top makes it easier to see what I’m doing and how hot my kitchen wares getting. The downside I would say is when you get the stove mine was delivered to make sure you look inside of it before you use it there was several head and pieces of cardboard that I was not aware of. So first time warming it up I had a small fire inside of my stove. Also keep your manual or your guide as there are legs at the bottom of your stove I was not aware of this and it was not equal to my countertops delivery didn’t offer to set it up even though I do have geeks squad. Also make sure you keep barkeepers friend on hand. The glass is extremely hard to keep clean and if you boil over water as my children dead it’s hard to get up that ring after it’s dried and burnt so I have one burner that’s pretty much ruined and it’s hard to cook with I’m looking for something else that may do the trick to get up that water damage anybody have any suggestions I’ll be happy to try them

I love the look and the functionality of my new range. The only thing I don't like is how shallow the bottom drawer is and the fact that I can't fit all of my pans. It's a minor issue. Overall I really like my range.

I just purchased this oven. So far, I really like it. I love the stovetop. It's a lot easier to clean. It is a very nice looking stove and completes my kitchen.

The range does what the range is supposed to do. The burners heat as they should. The oven achieves the intended temperatures. All is well. I had the small/large burners on the previous range, so no new thing. (had the old one 15+ years.) The shortfalls concern the lack of a keypad, using the timer, and the oven light. Do not know why GE built this with +/- keys to set temperature and time. Temperature is not too bad since it starts at 350° when you press +. But when setting the timer, it requires a lot of finesse. If you want a few minutes, you have to be quick to get off the + or it starts incrementing in 10 minute chunks. The timer alarm is barely more than a whisper. If you are not standing right there in front of the range you have difficulty hearing it. And if you are in front and the range hood fan is on, good luck. Why did some genius decide you don't need an oven light to come on when you open the oven door? This has been one of those things that has just always been. Not with this range. You have to consciously turn on the light before you open the door. This should just be for safety reasons. What did GE save by eliminating this switch?

GE’s Flat Top cook range has surpassed expectations when it comes to design and cooking features. Others in the same price category came off more basic, and did not live up to a fully functional self cleaning oven with an attractive design and high end feel. Beautiful stove, full of options for a great price.

Very happy with my purchase. Have been very pleased with the quality and performance. I like having two large heating elements in the front, and the small ones in the back. Good stove and oven for the price. It meets most of our requirements and the self cleaning mode is very useful.

we've had this stove for about 1.5yrs now. I love the color with the slate, easy to clean. Pros: the back right burner boils and heats water very fast. There's also lots of space to cook several things at one time, and the flat top doubles as a work space if your lacking counter space. Another pro is that the oven seems to heat food fairly evenly. Cons: You need to wipe the flat top surfaces after every use or you will get build up and burnt stains on the surface. The only other con I've noticed is that it seems to take a while for the oven to heat up, so just plan ahead and turn it on the preheat.

The radiant heat cook top is great. Everything I have cooked so far has been cooked to perfection. Stove top is very easy to clean and maintain. i couldn't be more pleased with this new range. The broiled was much better than I anticipated. The burgers that I cooked came out perfect the first time I used it.

The stove looks nice and works great. I do not care for the constant delicate care required for the glass top. Cleaning supplies for the top should have been included with the purchase. It is a pain to have to be so continuously careful. It would have been nice to have received the complete manual with the purchase. Reading online is not easy for my eyes. Thank you.

so far so good, it's easy to clean, and looks fabulous in my kitchen. The price is good. Just need to pay attention to not breaking the glass top, it's expensive piece of glass.

The electric range is perfect for basic cooking and professional cooking. The temperature control settings are perfect and the design is the control knobs are very slick. The range looks perfect in any kitchen and really vamps up the kitchen.
