My stove arrived with a cosmetic defect that wasn't noticed at first, but became increasingly obvious and progressed to very noticeable. GE only repairs such defects if noticed within 7 DAYS of delivery. I missed this deadline, and now GE is leaving me with an appliance with FACTORY DEFECT. Avoid GE or inspect your appliance with a microscope when you get it!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My old stove went it was a GE only about 5 years old , decided to stick with the GE since I matched my microwave Thought I was upgrading by buying a range without the back for a sleeker design This stove is so cheaply made compared to my old GE it just feels cheap, looks decent, stove top works fine, range doesn’t hold its temp seems like its struggles to make it to 500 and stay there

Posted .Your comments regarding the range are important to us and will be shared with our product design team. We are glad to assist with the temperature performance of your range. Your oven is designed to cycle on and off throughout the cooking cycle to maintain the set temperature. When the oven temperature has dropped below the set temperature, the oven cycles on again to provide heat and will cycle off again once the temperature is higher than the set temperature. The goal is to maintain an average set temperature. However, you will see a normal swing in temperatures above and below the set oven temperature throughout the cooking cycle. This is normal with ovens and is factored into how recipes are created and used.

I don't care for the infrared broiler as opposed to flame broiler in our previous oven. Back burners are very small, with only 1 large burner in front. I didn't think that would matter, but it does.
