Grates scratch surface

We have had this range since December, and the scratches are so noticeable, I can't even imagine this in a year what it would look like. GE needs to come up with a solution that the grates do not leave scratch marks. For the price of this range, this should not happen. I am very very careful with the grates too!

No idea what is taking so long to get this. Even a slow boat moves faster than this.
