THE GRAY COLOR IS GREAT ALSO,VERY EASY TO KEEP CLEAN. MY HOUSE IS VERY COMFORTABLE ALL DAY AND NIGHT. THE CONTROLS ARE EASY TO USE AND UNDERSTAND. THE FACT THAT IT IS PORTABLE IS A HUGE PLUS. I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR A LITTLE OVER A MONTH.THE SUMMER IS COMING UP AND IT IS GOING TO GET HEAVY USE.

Other 2 I got had trouble with the floats in the tank and overflowed or didn't work, In have yet to test if the auto shut off works but appears more durable. The tank is huge and the thing is a workhorse. Is pretty loud but if in another room from it it is OK. Probably not to great if in bedroom or living area

It runs quiet, easy to empty and easy to adjust humidity. Can use the tank or a continuous drain. We liked it so much we have one on our main floor and one in our basement.

Two of them have broken (E6 error)...don't buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit works great, when it works, but it has a major electrical problem that is a time bomb waiting to go off, and usually over 90 days after you bought it. It is the E6 error code (a temperature sensor problem) that appears in the display window and stops the unit from running. For me it occurred on two different units. So why did I buy a second one? I did so because the GE return process after 90 days requires the buyer to show he has bought another unit before reimbursing the money for replacing the broken one.

Posted .We want to assist with your dehumidifier's draining. Model ADYR50LC does not have a built-in pump, but draining can be set up through a hose. This method uses gravity to drain through a hose to a floor drain, and setting this up is discussed on page 7 of the manual. The manual can be viewed on the Best Buy product page at the bottom of the 'Features' section. If you're still having an issue with the hose after viewing that, we have an article with tips on our GE Appliances website titled "Dehumidifier - Drain Hose Issues"; that can be viewed when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab.

And that's only using it during summer months! These are Heavy and difficult to carry and dispose of. Annoying it doesn't work longer.

It dries out the area fast but doesn't over heat the area as many dehumidifiers will do when running. With the built in Humidistat it automatically maintains the humidity level to where you set it. It works so great and I was so happy with I went back back and purchased another one for my office.

This replacement dehumidifier is operating just fine with a hose draining to a sump pump facility.
