Certainly takes water out of the air very well. Unfortunately it drips when I take the "bin" out to empty it.

This was a replacement and is working okay so far.

This dehumidifier blew me away ! It dries out the area fast but doesn't over heat the area as many dehumidifiers will do when running. With the built in Humidistat it automatically maintains the humidity level to where you set it. It works so great and I was so happy with I went back back and purchased another one for my office.

We have tried many different brands of dehumidifiers and this one by GE is, by far, the best we’ve had. It is quiet and extremely efficient, shutting off when it reaches the desired humidity level, then turning on automatically when that level gets too high. It is on wheels and hooks up easily to a drain hose for easy water dispensing to our drain. We are VERY pleased with this unit.

Good dehumidifier performance. recommended even though we had to return the first unit for a faulty water collection drawer.

My room is much dryer now that I have a dehumidifier in it. It is very quiet running.

The first one of these I bought did not work at all. Had to take it back. Best Buy did exchange it with another of the same unit without any hassle.

This dehumidifier replaces a similar dehumidifier that had a pump mechanism that failed in less than a year of operation. This replacement dehumidifier is operating just fine with a hose draining to a sump pump facility.

Pulled moisture out really well and fast but it is louder than other dehumidifiers on market. Had an LG one that ran for years but this one, gave me an “Eb” error code within 9 months of use.

This was my second unit, the first one lasting only a few months before throwing the E6 error code of death. I only purchased the second one because the of the way GE's warranty works, which only pays what you paid for the first unit on a direct replacement. I had to contact GE today because my second unit has thrown the E6 code. This unit lasted about 11 months, so that was better than the first. However, the unit has gone up in price by $85 since I last purchased it, so I don't see myself purchasing it again. They scheduled a repair tech to come out this week, so fingers crossed that it will at least limp along a bit longer. I had a difficult time finding a dehumidifier that fit my needs for an unfinished basement that is only moderately heated in the winter, which is why I chose this one specifically, but I will begin searching for a replacement.

It does a fine job keeping our whole basement dry.

This works great. We have humidity issues in our basement and this is the first summer we have not had any concerns. It is easy to drain and not too loud. This is a great product.

Very easy to attach drain hose. Percentage read out at top of unit makes it easy to monitor humidity level. Brought down humidity in my basement from 68% to 45% in a matter of hours.

Worked great. easy to empty and was fairly quiet running also.

Works great for a larger basement. A little noisy but if it’s in an area where that’s not a concern it’s a great option.

Needed a replacement for a dehumidifier that kept freezing. This model is very solid and quite for the price. Perfect for our family basement.
