My dehumidifier stopped working after only three months of operation. Calling customer service (which was manned by an outside company), they offered a reimbursement. This reimbursement would only happen AFTER I spent my own money, mailed (no option to email) in a copy of my receipt, and waited up to 14 business days for the reimbursement; basically making the process as complicated and risky as possible.

So far so good. I have owned several GEs with pumps. This one has no pump because I bought a Little Giant condensate pump. Also, this on one has a much better humidity sensor than the previous models I have owned. It has worker great for the past few weeks.

Working fine, however 5 star rating not given for product quality, but for Best Buy’s handling of warranty. I recommend purchasing a service agreement when purchasing a dehumidifier.

Works well for wet basements, starts drying it up as soon as you turn it on. Nice feature that you can attach hose and let it keep emptying into drain.

This was a really dmooth tranaction. Salewoman was very easy to work with and was fast.

Lasted 3 months and error code Eb that no one has ever been able to fix this code not even GE who stands by their product. GE should refund the money so we consumer have a choice to buy a replacement with any other brands.

This dehumidifier is great in a large room and works fast, it is not very noisy, but it depends. For value is a great product to get in a very high-humidity environment.

Unit died in 4 months and GE offers 75% off cost for a new unit as a rebate to be issued in 8 weeks. This doesn’t even feel legal. Stay clear of all GE products.

This works great in my basement and has made a huge improvement in the first few days of use. The pump and hose feature is what sold me on this particular model

It worked ok for a few months and then died with an E6 error which apparently can't be fixed. Looking through the reviews, this seems to be a very common issue. I don't know why they are still selling them. I'm trying to go through the GE warranty now which is slow and involves having to buy another one and then hopefully getting reimbursed. Can not recommend.

So far it is working well. Wee have had several other dehumidifiers that didn't last more than a year or two. So we hope this one does better.

GE Dehumidifiers fall apart after 3 yrs. They are of poor quality.

So far the humidifiers working real good just the same that they can't make dehumidifiers last more than 2 to 3 years

It only lasted 11 months and is broken already. I expected more than that from GE products. My last one lasted over 20 years.

Unit stopped working properly after approximately 2 months with E6 error code. Intermittent function. Recommend purchasing Best Buy insurance if you are considering. Disappointed with GE for poor quality machine and Best Buy for not standing behind their product (2 week return policy).

A rattle-trap and cheaply slapped together. Not built to last! Don't know what brand to recommend! Had a frigidaire same design that did same thing and didn't even last a year! When condenser runs rattles and vibrates. Thinking all these brands may be built at same place!

My basement is very dry now and smells much better.

Old one died so replaced with this. Hopefully it last longer than the old one.
