Been running this in our bedroom since I've gotten it and it works and works well! Prior to this, my thermostat was reading around 65% humidity in our main bedroom. This is big issue as mold starts forming anything above 60. Now that we have dehumidifier the humidity level down to mid 50s. Tank is easy to remove and empty. No complaints so far!

I'm so happy with the dehumidifier. It's fairly quiet, keeps the basement dry, it has nice features. Simple to operate.

This is the second one of these we have purchased from Best Buy as we loved the first one so much. So far they have both worked extremely well, so much more efficient than the old ones we were replacing. I will say that prior to purchasing these two units we had purchased a reconditioned GE dehumidifier from a different store and the plug was all bent up. Had to return it. So from my experience I would stick to GE first quality merchandise.

This dehumidifier is perfect for our basement. It takes our the water and has an alert when full. Easy to empty.

Very efficient with great air flow while being reasonably quiet

The features I like most are the auto defrost and the air exchanger. The air return is dispersed from the top, better than other models that send it out on the side. The air filter is in the front instead of the back like previous models, which I think it's a better design. Easy to use system, set the humidity level and fan speed, and it's ready to go.

Unit is quiet, maintains the set humidity level in the basement. So far, it’s been great. Hope it lasts more than a couple of years.

Purchased a similar unit and it lasted only 17 months of seasonal use...so get and extended warranty as there is no possible way to service these units if they loose refrigerant as mine did. GE did offer a rebate on another unit, with I appreciated, since I didn't purchase an extended warranty on the first unit. Customer service was pleasant to work with from GE. These are well constructed compared to most; easy bucket removal, filter cleaning easy to access and drain line hookup is solid connection. Multiple speeds for the fan and variable setting for humidity all work well. Not ready to give it five stars until it proves it can last...only in service for 6 weeks.

This solidifies that my old unit was a piece of junk! This pulls much more moisture from the air and the sound and heat difference is unbelievable.

This thing pulls some seriously high quality H2O out of our crawlspace. Don't worry, we ain't drinking it. It was funny trying to get into best buy to buy a dehumidifier when there were 25 people in line to buy the new Zelda. 10/10.

A easy to use machine that works very well. It takes the moisture out of the air rather quickly.

So far, so good. This is a sizable dehumidifier that is easy to move around (thanks to wheels), easy to operate, easy to empty, and has a very bright display that's easy to see from across a room. Set it to the desired RH% level, let it do it's thing, and you should be happy! Only nitpick I can make is that the notification chime for when the container is full is quite loud! Maybe you can lower the volume, but I haven't looked into it yet.

Easy set up and does a great job removing moisture. Settings can be less than intuitive. The only real downside is the amount of heat it puts out.

This unit is relatively quiet and seems to be a work horse. Easy to set up a hose to drain it direct to my sump. Would recommend.

We’ve had this a couple months now. Replaces a 10 year old LG dehumidifier in our basement. This is quiet. Has different fan speeds. We have the water going into the bin so I can see how much water is drawn out every day. I empty this three times a day on low fan speed and 60% humidity. The only thingS I would recommend considering ... this doesn’t have the two hours on/two hours off timer feature and also the water tank is smaller than the one it replaces. Also the cord is very short. Can not plug into ceiling outlet. But otherwise a good dehumidifier.

This thing removes an amazing amount of water from the air. It's about as loud as a medium desk fan. Seemingly we'll built, rolls easy on its wheels.

I was having trouble getting paint to stick on my walls. It kept bubbling and peeling and I decided to give this a try. 24 hours later it pulled 6 gallons of water from our 3,600 sq ft home. I tried painting again and it worked. We now run it during the day and our humidity dropped from 80% to 45%. It is noisy and releases heat into the room. If we're going to be away we put it in the laundry room and drain it into the washing machine drain.

The dehumidifiers work excellent!!! Easy set up and the directions on setting the humidity levels were easy to understand.
