Only draw back is that even with the hose connected to drain into sump pump the bucket will still fill with water as well. Check on the hose to the machine and it is always dry. Tried checking internet for the issue but found nothing to rectify so I have to empty the bucket as well.

It has made a huge difference in our damp basement this summer, and completely gotten rid of the mildew smell we had. It works fast, and the sound isn't too bad if on a low fan setting. We keep it on high since we don't spend too much time down there. This thing works! It will pull a full tank of water from the air within a day, and has been able to keep up with this humid summer we are having.

If I keep the water very long in a white bucket it turns gray with black bucket bottom and sides. Is there a dye included? I know it's not potable. I use the water for fabric dyeing and rinsing when it's not needed for watering plants.

Best Buy has a guaranteed price match, and I purchased the warranty to be safe. It has been keeping the unfinished 500 sq feet of my basement at about 40-45%, running almost constantly and with the hose drain.
