My garage isn't insulated and full of tools, motorcycles and wood, all of which shouldn't be exposed to humidity. This machine is a beast, and reduced the garage from 70% humidity down to 35% in just a few hours. It's noticeably drier in there, and worth the cost to protect my equipment.

It's a great to humidifier but there's no attachment for draining water out of it with a hose. I had to drill a hole through the side of the catch basin and add a piece of tubing so I wasn't constantly having to empty it. Besides this it seems to work perfectly

The humidity in my basement was 80% when I started using the GE dehumidifier. It removed several gallons of water a day from the air and quickly reduced the humidity to my setting of 40%. I use a hose to gravity drain the humidifier to my basement sump.

Works great, quiet and nice features. The only criticism I would have is it should have a red float bubble in the small window on the bucket to make it easier to see how much water is in the bucket.

This dehumidifier replaces an older model. It has a number of settings both for time and amount of humidity. So far, ours has been running non-stop in our basement. The only detractor is that there is no buzzer to tell you when it's full. Other than that, it's perfect.

No set up required just unwrap and plug it in. Works great or least it’s pulling in a lot of water but I never turn it off and since butting a little air blower in the basement with the Dehummidifier my musty smell is gone.

this dehumidifier works great. My apartment feels so much cleaner now. The only problem with every dehumidifier is the noise that it makes.

this dehumidifier works great. quiet and does an excellent job holds more than our previous one so dont have to empty as often and basement is drier now with this new one too ! it was also a better price than i found elswhere online and they brought it right out to my car as well

After reading many reviews I chose to purchase the GE dehumidifier. I have had 0 issues with it and it operates with a minimal amount of noise. It has 100% improved the air quality in my basement. It is no longer humid. :)

De-humidifier is very efficient and has lowered the humidity in our home significantly. The water bucket is easy to remove and the hose drain is also easy. We have owned this unit for about one month and use it every day...it functions perfectly.

This dehumidifier was purchased to keep the humidity down in my basement. Setup was very easy, I connected a hose, plugged it in and set my desired humidity level and it was good to go. It has done a good job of maintaining the humidity level.

Works well. I like the feature of setting the humidity level. when the level goes below the set level, the machine turns on. It saves unnecessary use of electricity by turning it on only when needed.

installed this few days ago in my finished basement with 75% humidity. 2 days later I'm already reading 60%, its pulling out the humidity faster than I imagined possible. I've had a few dehumidifiers down there over the years but this one is really working well. good product.

I love this dehumidifier. It takes all the moisture out of the air very quickly which is great because I have it in my art studio and it helps my paintings to dry a lot faster.

I am completely satisfied with this product so far. I stay in a basement so it tends gets really moist which causes bad oders. As soon I as turned the dehumidifier on the smell started to go away and after around thirty minutes I couldn't even smell the moisture in the air.

Since I have this running in the basement, there is no longer that stale, musty smell. The basement smells fresh! What was really nice was the $50 rebate I received from my power company!

This dehumidifier works great! But my last one worked for only one year. Sensor stopped working so would not turn off or on when stopped. Buyer protection plan well worth it for getting a replacement.

The dehumidifier was good. Did dry out some carpet and drapes that were wet. Took about 48 hours. We have a 15 year old dehumidifier that works about twice as good. Don't remember how much we paid for it but if all is equal the old did a much better job.

Easy to set up and easy to use, I opted for hose that goes directly into well. But the basket has a handle so either way is great. I never realized how this unit could get rid of the musty smell from too much humidity. It’s great
