This is a replacement for one we only had for a year. Previously we had a GE like this that lasted 6 years. We had to get a different brand because this GE was not available at our store. This is a terrific product, very quiet and very efficient.

We've had this for a couple of years now and it is working great. It is easy to empty the reservoir when it gets full (and it automatically shuts off when that reservoir gets full). The settings work great in allowing you to determine how much humidity to allow in the room and have it automatically come on only if humidity exceeds the setting. We have ours on a hard surface floor, not carpet, and the reservoir easily slides out so we can dump out the water.

Totally satisfied with purchase, professionalism, and 10% discount because the 70 point dehumidifier they showed was in stock was not and had to purchase the less expensive 50 pint model without spending 300 and not paying interest for 12 months. Ty

This was not our first choice but had a situation that we needed it right away. I have been pleased. It has performed well and is super simple to use.

Working fine so far as much as I can tell. It's pretty self-explanatory to use. It's no more noisy than any typical dehumidifier. My basement is definitely less damp and dank than it was. I noticed a difference after just a couple days.

it's doing a great job removing the water, wish the handle was a bit better am afraid it will break off and spill water everywhere. So I only use it when its empty. Have to haul the water hallway across the basement to dump in sump pump hole.

The dehumidifier has been working well. It is small and doesn't take up too much space. It definitely sucks a large amount of moisture from the air and the house has felt much less humid since we purchased it.

So far, so good. This unit has worked better than the 70 pint one that died. Maybe the old one was not working well for some time but this lowered the humidity from 61% to 45% in 1.5 days in a 1500sq' basement. I hope it lasts.

Excellent buy. This Dehumidifier is wonderful. Very easy to operate. I am loving it and recommend it if you are looking for a great product.

I read all the negative reviews and offer this: yes it makes noise, no it does not vibrate, yes the hoses attachment works great. In short I’m glad I ignored the negative reviews, it’s been on straight for three weeks. It works great.

Works exactly as expected removes a ton of water and makes our entire 2800 sqft home more comfortable. Ours is a ranch you would need one per floor if 2 story house.

It works very well at getting water out of the air. Even on low there’s a bit of wind noise, but no rattling or vibrating. The wind noise is not excessive.

Like that it is very quiet for a dehumidifier, 3 fan speeds, and its Energy Star rating. Wish that the control illumination could be dimmed but, it does serve as a basement night light.

Great I love it. It’s so quite you hardly know its running in the room right next to you. And the good part is it did cost an arm and a leg.

Bought this as a replacement for some junk Amazon dehumidifier I had to return. I was trying to reduce the humidity in a 1,100sf basement from 65% - 45%. The Amazon unit couldn't do it after 4days. The GE did it in about 24hrs.

Does the trick. Automatically shuts off when the humidity level you desire is. reached. Depending on how much humidity you have, you have to empty the water bin out accordingly. Great value for how much was spent buying it.

So glad I purchased this appliance. We have a damp basement and this little workhouse is doing it’s job. I empty the bucket morning and night. Runs much more quietly than my last machine - a Whirlpool.

Works extremely well for humid locations. Attains goal humidity fast and maintains it well.

The dehumidifier works great, some days I have to empty it more than once a day. It is really quiet and most of the time I don't even realize it is running.
