Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is used for our basement,it uses a little bit more on energy but it does run quite a bit.Over all i would say that for basement use it takes about 40 dollars a month to run it 24/7.The built in pump is great,you never have to worry about emptying the pan

Great for helping clear the air

It has really improved the air quality in some areas of the house that dont get good return airflow to the AC system. Especially useful if you have lets say old carpet. As an asthma person, I really like this. Keeping it at 45% works great for my breathing.
