Does it's intended job

I let it run for 3 full buckets before hooking up the hose to empty into my floor drain (not included). It's been able to get the humidity down from the high 60% range to a steady 40% after about 1 day of running it with the hose attached. It's been running for about a month straight now, hopefully it will last.

It is really the plastic frame that rattles. I added tape to reduce noise. I use it a few times in the spring and fall to reduce humidity. It works great. I have a 2700 sqft single story and it takes care of the entire home. Of course with all doors open and air flowing. It does add a few degrees of heat to a room.

Another chance?

Gave it another chance due to a recent and very good sale price, where the unit arrived with some cosmetic damage. I could fix the dented in plastic deformation and the unit is operating just fine in a rough finished crawl space. Hope this one will last longer.
