Unit works great and pulls lots of water out of the air to keep the humidity low in your room. Easy to empty.

We had a very old dehumidifier that was not energy efficient and loud. We have been wanting a new one for a long time but kept putting it off as live gets in the way and other things take priority. We finally decided to put this on the top of our list and couldn't be happier. Uses less energy, so much quieter and more compact than the older one we got rid of. Works great!

Simple to use and generates less heat and noise than my previous dehumidifiers. The full basin alarm sounds similar to a smoke alarm and is loud. This initially scared me as I bought this to replace a dehumidifier that was recalled due to fire hazard. When new it had a chemical/new product smell as well as burning odor which lessened after a few weeks of use.

What a beast! I did a fair amount of research before investing in this. The challenge I have is a fieldstone foundation in a portion of my basement and as a result it tends to be damp. This machine has taken to the space from 65% to a consistent 45%. I will comment my reviews with: Simple to set up (even with hose) Quite as far as dehumidifier goes Digital display is easy to read and understand Does a the job in the basement of my 1870s farmhouse.

I bought this dehumidifier a couple of months ago and started using it as soon as it arrived. I put it in my basement where it is very humid in the summer. The set-up was very easy. At first I had to dump the collected water 3 times per day. Now that it's later in the year and it isn't so humid, I dump it once per day and try to keep the humidity at 50%. This dehumidifier is quiet. I really don't even notice it running. I would highly recommend it.

This thing works from the minute you turn it on. My master bedroom is big and this monster in about 2 days got off all humidity out. Im talking that i had to clear off the container 7 times because it got full pretty fast. In results no more humidity odor and the room feels so much better. Now i have it in my daughter room and its doing the same thing. Also pretty quit compared to one that i had borrowed from a neighbor a couple of month ago. Great investment. I would recommended it to everyone. Also it has the option to connect a hose and got it turn on nonstop.

Very good Price . A quiet easy to operate unit . With the hose connected it literally takes care of itself except for an occasional filter cleaning .

I purchased this for my garage. My garage wasn’t “wet” but I had some issues with mold in there so it was very damp. I was shocked that this thing was taking about 2 gallons of water per day out. I’m drawing it into a 5 gallon bucket and about every other day watering the flowers and filling the bird bath. I am very happy with this purchase. Well worth the price!

Unit came ready for use. Pretty much plug and play. Casters were pre-installed. Runs quiet. Picks up water quickly.

I needed a dehumidifier for my basement. Humidity level was 75% and I was concerned about damage to the items stored in the basement. After purchasing this unit, the humidity level has been able to stay below 50% and even hitting the targeted 35%-45% range. I am using it with a garden hose to a drain so that I don’t have to empty the bucket several times a day.

Put this to work in an office building that had light mold growing everywhere due to faulty ac, after 4 four hour cycles mold mildew gone, did cleanup and looks and smells new. used in home gym and took only one cycle of four hours to reduce humidity level from 88 to 50% Love it easy to use and very portable

I bought one of these for my midwest basement, and it has been super helpful. It really pulls moisture from the air and the speaker is impressively loud. I'm able to hear the notification from upstairs if there isn't too much going on. I ended up buying a second.

I have been looking for a dehumidifier for over a year. I wanted one for the basement where the humidity was 60-70% in the summer. I also wanted one that could be hooked up to a hose so I wouldn't have to carry a bucket of water every day. This one does the job! It automatically cycles on and off to keep the humidity at 45%! The set up was very easy and it was delivered to my home with no problems.

Fan is slightly noiser than expected, but quickly becomes background noise. Can pull about 10% humidity (usually turn it on when it's over 60%) out of ~1500sq' in under 2 hours. Priced better than similar models at home improvement stores. No complaints after 4 weeks and satisfied with performance.

Works great so far, I can't comment on longevity as I have only had it for a few weeks. The first day I had to empty the bucket twice, which is easy to do. It was a rainy day in Florida with 90% humidity. It keeps my house at 45-50% steadily now. Hoping to take some of the strain off my ac during the scorching summer months. Will be purchasing another for the back of the house.

Outstanding quality for a low price! We bought this dehumidifier immediately putting it to use following the finishing of our new basement area. This little machine is a terrific piece of equipment, which has kept our humidity levels down at a very comfortable level throughout the entire basement--cool in the summer and pleasantly warm in the winter. Highly recommend this to everyone with a basement.

After some unusually heavy rains, there was water infiltration into my lower floor (I live in a tri-level). Everything on that level felt damp and musty. Since I couldn’t locate any of the dehumidifiers recommended by Consumer Reports, I relied on the customer reviews on the Best Buy and other websites to buy this model. I’ve been using it for a little more than a month, and so far it’s proven to be highly effective at removing humidity from the air: the tank needs to be emptied after about 12 hours of operation. Setup and operation are extremely simple, and the noise level seems to be about the same as a room air conditioner.

This unit has done an outstanding job in reducing and maintaining the humidity level of my 900 square foot finished and conditioned basement. This unit lowered the summer humidity level from 70% to my selected level of 45%. It is amazing how much better the basement feels. I initially had to empty the container twice daily for the first 3-4 days and then daily afterwards. I have since plumbed in a drain and now have the unit draining directly so there is no longer a need to empty the container. The unit shuts off when the desired humidity level is reached and cycles on as needed to maintain the desired level. Love these features. While this unit is a little noisy it is comparable to other dehumidifiers that I considered. Having only used it for 6 weeks I am not sure of the impact to my monthly power bill. I expect it to be slightly higher but the benefits are worth it. No more sticking doors!
