I bought same one 2 years ago but not from best buy. This time I wanted to purchase from best buy because of extended warranty. All my past dehumidiers work great for 2 or 3 years and then stop collecting water. Lets give this one another chance.

We use it to augment the AC, which allows us to keep the house temp higher (78ºF) and still be very comfortable on humid days. As they say in the desert; "But it's dry heat!" ––– YES, I would buy this again.

I wish I had purchased one with a larger capacity....my problem, not the dehumidifier. The only drawback is the short cord, and the directions insist I cannot use an extension cord.

We empty it several times a day to keep humidity at 55%, so would be nice to just have water pumped out, but we understand this is what we bought. Size of water bucket good as any larger would be to heavy.

I use this in my basement and did not realize how much moisture was down there until I turned this on. If you have a very damp space, I would recommend attaching a hose to this so the machine is constantly emptying. The 50 pint tank fills up quick.
