Our basement was cold, and had some puddles on the ground. We bought this, and it's much better down there now! We run it at 45, and have a hose connected to it that runs to a drain. Definitely don't want to empty this daily.

We bought this item because we started noticing a musty smell in our basement , after plugging this item in , it was approximately 24 hours later the musty smell was completely gone! I am very happy with this item! It did exactly what i wanted it to do!

Came looking used like the other reviews. With the brown satins and even a dead bug or two. I don't think it's used so much as that is tested quickly in the factory not let to dry and packaged up. Other then that it works as expected. This version of GES humidistat makes it almost a no buy. As what consumer reports found / others it can be off by 2 - 11 degrees! Meaning it could say 55 but really be 67. You'll have to play and find the sweet spot. But it does turn off everything fan and all which is nice. But like all these cheaply build dehumidifiers I just hope to get 3-5 years instead of 2 which my prev LG gave me.

I purchased this dehumidifier for our newly constructed house. It works well but fills up fast since it's a smaller size. The one thing I do not like about it is that it did not come with a hose.

The machine works very well at collecting water and drying out the room. But it also fills up so quickly that on a very humid day, I have to empty it more than once. Next step is to set it up with a pump and drain it outside. Otherwise very happy.

The unit we bought actually is the 30 pint model. It works great, but the water basin fills up very quickly, sometimes twice a day.

Purchased to replace older model that failed. So far we are very satisfied with it. It is very quiet when it is running and the "empty" alarm captures your attention as it is long and loud.

Very powerful! Pulls moisture out of nowhere, even pulls moisture out of spilled water on carpet! Highly recommend!

My brother has the same model and really likes it, so I got one and so far it works great

The dehumidifier works very well however it is loud and though it effectively collects water it is very difficult to remove from unit and dump contents of heavy water

This dehumidifier was efficient in reducing the humidity in our small condo. I did purchase a second unit for the bedroom.

This sat in a box for a year as I travelled out of state. It does a good jobdehumidifying but it is loud! Missed the return window, but had I known how loud it is, I’d opt for different machine.

So far ir has done exactly what we bought it for. The only drawback and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the the connection for the hose is hard to reach and attach the hose.

Does the job at a fair price. But huge down point is it does not have a auto on off switch. I can set it to one humidity and it will keep running. It won’t stop like some of its competitors and resume once the humidity is too high.

Our large bathroom was always moldy until we bought this. Now we a clean fresh bathroom. For perspective our bathroom is 500 square feet and we have to empty tank daily.

We have an old house with real wooden floors the house is low to the ground & with cutting all the trees down they don’t soak up rain water so our floors got messed up & this helped so much

Works great at dehumidifying a large area. Down side is having to empty tank a few times a day but that means it's working.

I like everything about the dehumidifier EXCEPT that the plastic cabinet now loudly vibrates when the unit is operating. At first, operation was fairly quiet, but now it is quite noisy after the water tank filled 5 times. If I lightly place my hand on the right side of the cabinet (looking from the front), the vibration stops and the unit is much quieter. I don't know if this problem is leading to a failure or something needs to be tightened. I tried tightening the screws on the cabinet but they were already tight. Fortunately, the unit is in the basement.

Works good but tends to ingest its exhaust making it shut off. Moved it away from wall some and it works better. Now its in my way. Manual says 18 inches clearance. They are honest and I am tripping over it.
