My GE 50 pint Dehumidifier has taken the moisture level out of my basement from 95% to 55%. I am loving the air with less dampness in my basement. It is extremely made with quality and hope it will last for years to come.

set it up at my deceased parents house in lake placid, NY. I emptied tank twice while I was there. My brother in law hooked up dehumidifier with long hose to empty the tank. I hope it is working. Thank you for asking....

Our basement was cold, and had some puddles on the ground. We bought this, and it's much better down there now! We run it at 45, and have a hose connected to it that runs to a drain. Definitely don't want to empty this daily.

My brother has the same model and really likes it, so I got one and so far it works great

This dehumidifier was efficient in reducing the humidity in our small condo. I did purchase a second unit for the bedroom.

Came looking used like the other reviews. With the brown satins and even a dead bug or two. I don't think it's used so much as that is tested quickly in the factory not let to dry and packaged up. Other then that it works as expected. This version of GES humidistat makes it almost a no buy. As what consumer reports found / others it can be off by 2 - 11 degrees! Meaning it could say 55 but really be 67. You'll have to play and find the sweet spot. But it does turn off everything fan and all which is nice. But like all these cheaply build dehumidifiers I just hope to get 3-5 years instead of 2 which my prev LG gave me.

We bought this item because we started noticing a musty smell in our basement , after plugging this item in , it was approximately 24 hours later the musty smell was completely gone! I am very happy with this item! It did exactly what i wanted it to do!

The dehumidifier works very well however it is loud and though it effectively collects water it is very difficult to remove from unit and dump contents of heavy water

I purchased this dehumidifier for our newly constructed house. It works well but fills up fast since it's a smaller size. The one thing I do not like about it is that it did not come with a hose.

The machine works very well at collecting water and drying out the room. But it also fills up so quickly that on a very humid day, I have to empty it more than once. Next step is to set it up with a pump and drain it outside. Otherwise very happy.

Purchased to replace older model that failed. So far we are very satisfied with it. It is very quiet when it is running and the "empty" alarm captures your attention as it is long and loud.

This sat in a box for a year as I travelled out of state. It does a good jobdehumidifying but it is loud! Missed the return window, but had I known how loud it is, I’d opt for different machine.

We had mildew smell in our house. We put the dehumidifier down in our basement the smell is gone in a week.

So far ir has done exactly what we bought it for. The only drawback and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the the connection for the hose is hard to reach and attach the hose.

Works great at dehumidifying a large area. Down side is having to empty tank a few times a day but that means it's working.

Our large bathroom was always moldy until we bought this. Now we a clean fresh bathroom. For perspective our bathroom is 500 square feet and we have to empty tank daily.

Does the work as it should. The only downside is that it will heat up your house. The dry air comes out hot.

This summer in Texas would be unbearable without this in my home. It has really giving my air conditioner a break.

This thing works awesome ! The difference in humidity, temperature feel, and air quality in my garage is significantly improved.
