Does the job at a fair price. But huge down point is it does not have a auto on off switch. I can set it to one humidity and it will keep running. It won’t stop like some of its competitors and resume once the humidity is too high.

We have an old house with real wooden floors the house is low to the ground & with cutting all the trees down they don’t soak up rain water so our floors got messed up & this helped so much

I like everything about the dehumidifier EXCEPT that the plastic cabinet now loudly vibrates when the unit is operating. At first, operation was fairly quiet, but now it is quite noisy after the water tank filled 5 times. If I lightly place my hand on the right side of the cabinet (looking from the front), the vibration stops and the unit is much quieter. I don't know if this problem is leading to a failure or something needs to be tightened. I tried tightening the screws on the cabinet but they were already tight. Fortunately, the unit is in the basement.

I looked on Amazon for a dehumidifier but they all seemed to be knockoff copies. I found a GE brand dehumidifier at my local Best Buy, i am very happy with the dehumidifier and buying experience.

Works good but tends to ingest its exhaust making it shut off. Moved it away from wall some and it works better. Now its in my way. Manual says 18 inches clearance. They are honest and I am tripping over it.

I’ve purchased several dehumidifiers over the years, and this one has made a very good impression in the first months of operation. The only question is longevity, which can only be evaluated with time.

Works very well. A little awkward to empty and wish it had a repeatable timer. But overall very good quality.

It keeps the humidity in my basement under control. The sound it makes in that location is acceptable but I don't think that I would want it anywhere else in the house.

This dehumidifier works great! I have a two family house and had to leave this one downstairs for the tenant. It works so well that I am buying another one for upstairs!

Works well for my basement, hose attachment works well. I only wish wish the tank capacity was more.

Got this one as my old unit died. Looked for best price/customer sat when shopping for this one. It has been working fine since I got it, but I've only had it a few month.

Works great so far, a little noisy at times but the auto on off works great and helped keep my upper levels of my house cooler than normal by lowering the moisture. This in turned kept my ac from running as much.

I put in basement and plugged in. It does a good job, my basement is not wet anymore. Just one thing I can say as cons its cord is shorter than I expected but it is okay.

Works great. This unit is 20 pints lighter than our last unit but at 50 pints it’s still a little heavy to carry the water container but way more manageable than our old 70 pint one. Overall I’m happy with my choice.

So far, since the antediluvian rains have halted it has not run. So, the on and off feature is working well. It works when it wet and doesn't when it doesn't have to. I'm happy.

Dehumidifies my basement quickly during humid summer months. I have to empty the bucket 1 every day or two when outdoor humidity is high.

I have an old house with a stone wall foundation. This GE Dehumidifier does a great job of keeping my basement dry. Draining the water collected into a sink drain makes it carefree to use.

Does a good job but noisy. We turn it off to watch TV and turn it back on when we leave the basement.
