    I purchased the same dehumidifier several years ago and it no longer worked. I was so happy with the old one that I purchased the same exact thing!

    It works VERY well but beware of electric bill. Mine QUADRUPLED. (Not an exaggeration). It did take 9-12 gallons of water out of the air everyday.

    This was a good humidifier, but I had to return it because it was larger than I wanted because I need to be able to move it up and down stairs.

    Couldn’t have picked a better unit. Really does a great job removing the moisture. Can hardly hear it run. Fills the bucket in about 10 hours.

    This is a great item. Since I bought my basement does not smell or feel damp. The temperate is very confortable and the air is really nice.

    I only bought this because GE sent me a rebate because the other one I had exactly like it only lasted one summer. Just like a lot of other reviews it works great for one year then just runs fir 50 mins and shuts off the next summer. Prob a defective Chinese part and never recalled. I bought the best buy extended warranty so I'm sure ill be back next year to get another one from ge or best buy. New govt regulations call this a 50 pint when it used to be 70 pint. Same exact one as last year's 70 pint I had. JUNK

    It did not come with a hose so I had to buy one online. However, the hose does not work as well as I had expected
