We bought this one to replace the old GE dehumidifier that we had for about 5 years but stopped working. This 50-pint is about the same size as previous 75-pint version, but is much quieter. So far it works great!

I bought this for my basement. It is simple to set up and use. I empty the tank twice a day and my basement is much drier. It does have a connector to attach a hose to drain. It runs pretty quietly. The only negative is that the electric plug is not very long.

This thing is an absolute beast. Sucks the moisture right out of the air no problem. It comes highly recommended and it works fast. -not very loud -does make the room a little bit hotter but hardly noticeable Not really any cons to it in my opinion.

Easy to use; works efficiently. Doing the job and doing it well. Really helps out with the muggy air in a basement that is underground. I feel that GE appliances are very strong.

Quiet and very efficient!!! I pull 70 pints of water from my apartment every day. If you have asthma....you need this.

When our old dehumidifer stopped working i wanted something that was the same size, but quieter. With three different fan settings and a delayed timer for shutoff, this dehumidifer was exactly what we were looking for. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my new home that has a crawl space in the garage. It was getting very humid. Within a day the humidity in my garage went from 85% to 60%. I noticed a huge difference. You can also dump the water it removes to water your plants! Double win.

Having lived in the South forever, I was brought up to look at dehumidifiers like they were useless considering how much humidity permeates everything we do around here. Y'all, this work horse has significantly cut back on how much I have to clean (particularly my concerns regarding mold and mildew). Keeping the household full of dry air has also been helpful keeping AC costs down just because dry air is significantly easier to keep cool than humid air. The overall air quality in my house is just better with it being filtered, cutting back on sensitivities and allergies that plague me in the warmer months. This thing has made me a believer, highly, highly recommend.

I really like this dehumidifier. It is fairly quiet and quite efficient. The controls are well marked and laid out logically. The water bucket is easy to empty.

Serves our purposes well. This sits in our bedroom close to the door to the master bath. After a shower or bath, the air can get quite humid in the bedroom, so we bought this to address that. When turning this on after a shower or bath the unit typically registers the humidity as 70-85%. We run it on high or medium for ~30 minutes, which lowers the humidity to ~35%. The air is much less humid and we sleep better now. Easy to empty the water, which is assurance that it's doing its job. Good thing we don't need it while sleeping, as its a bit loud on high or medium. Might be able to sleep while its on low, though. Would buy again.

Very efficient dehumidifier. Does a great job removing the humidity in the basement. I like the various settings. I set it up with a hose to drain rather than having to empty the bucket daily.

Excellent dehumidifier. We don’t have AC so I’m the summer this thing runs constantly. Stays clean and it’s quiet.

Wonderful dehumidifier. It works as intended and has even helped lower my power bill! So far it has saved me about $15 a month since bought. It will soon pay for its self, I highly recommend this item. The improved comfort at home is a must, it’s not too loud and has a good size tank. For reference I live in a 2 bed 1 bath apartment right now and it will last for about 2 days with relative humidity at 45%.

Excellent dehumidifier for large area. I run it on low and it runs quiet and keeps my basement at 40%. My only complaint is that it would be nice if they would include a drain hose. I am happy with my purchase.

The dehumidifier is excellent and has been working tirelessly for about 1 month. Just plug and go. This unit dropped my humidity from 80% to 60% within the first 12 hours of operation.

I have used this unit for over two months and am happy with the purchase. I operate the unit on low and it still does a great job of removing moisture in our lower level. The air is dryer now in November (MN) so it rarely kicks in.

Quiet for the size, does a fantastic job keeping the basement dry. Bought the extended warranty, as we have yet to have a dehumidifier last more than 3 years, just crossing our fingers this one lasts longer than the rest!

This dehumidifier works great in my basement. Instant improvement! I did separately purchase a harden hose to attach for draining as it does fill very quickly. Great product at a reasonable price!
