Hope it continues to work. hate that I'm asked to review so soon after purchase. Didn't come with the remote control but that's no big deal.

The best it does with my 1000 sqft apartment is about 45% at 70°F, while the outdoor humidity is about 85% at about the same temperature at night.

Completely died, won't even start when plugged in. Zero stars, not even one star. Now outside of Best Buy return period and now I have to figure out how to claim the warranty. I paid $$$ and now I have to pay with my time to refund a dead dehumidifier. Not buying large appliances from Best Buy - return policy is too short.

This unit is the quietest and quickest to reduce humidity in my 1840's cellar that I have ever had. I have every reason to believe it'll be a good value in the long run.

It arrived with the bucket full and fan speed indicators not working so back it has to go. This is on the heels of purchasing two broken GE window air conditioners within the last month. Clearly their quality has taken a significant hit between a few years ago and now and so I will need to stay far far away from GE in the future and recommend you do the same.
