I had to replace a Crosley 15,000 BTU and this unit is what I bought. I was skeptical going with lower BTU's but this AC gets way colder than the Crosley I had. The only problem I have so far with this unit is that water "spits" out of the vents. Have yet to get an answer from anyone on what the problem may be.

The levers that control the direction of the airflow are useless. We are going to return this product

The design made it challenging to install. It’s fairly quiet. The air flow vents when used don’t make much difference with the direction of the flow. The side panels could be thicker and closer to the unit so that there isn’t as much gapping, and not having to buy extra products to obtain a good seal. Price point was higher than expected.
