But lt is loud, very loud. I rather take the noise than the hot room, but it is really loud, keep that in mind. I bought it since my mother moved to my other room, it is cool now, otherwise I would have done some research and get a quieter one.,

My wife was looking at a 10K for a kitchen/dining/living room. I told her the 12K would work better for cooling a room this size. We picked up this one, very good cooling in a good size room. Suggested over smaller ones.

The previous 10 year old unit worked great til the end. I’m hopeful this one will be just as great. Shortly after installation and turning on it made the room cold which was amazing.

Cold Air

But I have to say that I had to buy this to replace the exact same GE A/C after only two seasons. So, I was very disappointed. I am hoping that this air conditioner will last much longer.

It's running well and cools about 600 sqft of my apartment (another ac cools the other 400 and that one is good too). I hope this one lasts longer then the other did though. I had to get this one because it was on an unbelievable sale.
