GE did an "investigation" 9 days later, could not find the cause, and told me I could buy a "discounted" dryer that would arrive in 15-20 days. No thanks to GE--they have dangerous products.

The purple wire off the blower motor to the heating element is known to over amp and melt thus not drying clothes. Have had this dryer worked on twice within a year, owned for 2. DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER!
