I ordered this because the freezer portion of my refrigerator was not freezing to the proper temperature. Food kept partially defrosting in freezer. This unit was delivered and set up by Best Buy quickly and efficiently. Within 24 hours, the temperature inside was at zero on maximum level which was 30 to 40 degrees cooler than my freezer section previously. I can now safely store meat products without having to worry about excessive defrosting. I used mini crates to organize the food items and unit will easily hold three crates up and three crates across with more room still in front. There is a little shelf on right side and two sliding baskets also included to allow for easy organization. This purchase was well worth the investment.

I was going to get a cheaper freezer but I am glad I read the reviews before, I had planned to put this freezer in my garage and the cheaper brand had very bad reviews on that set up. I read reviews of this model and people said they had no problems having this freezer in their garage in the middle of the summer, well, it's true, my garage gets over 100 degrees in the summer and this little guy keeps everything frozen to perfection. I am very happy with my purchase. It is very quiet too.

We only needed a small chest freezer and this one was perfect! Completely silent, very energy efficient, looks great.....what more could you want. I would highly recommend this product.

Ordered this online for home delivery since it is not available in store, I usually like to see items in store then make a decision on whether to purchase. When it arrived it came as described. This was just to supplement my refrigerator freezer which is quite small. Its the perfect size for my family , not too big or too small. Plugged it in and thats all there is to it. It's in the garage so it's not noisy.

my wife and i needed a small chest freezer. we read lots of reviews. decided on the GE. it's just the right size for the 2 of us. very quiet. can't hear it run. just a faint click when the motor kicks on. very happy with our purchase.

Perfect size for the garage. Small footprint and since its in the garage noise is not an issue. Just plugged it in and it was ready to go. supplements the small fridge I have in the kitchen . I can store more food, save money and make less trips to the grocery store.

This size freezer is perfect for small family needing some overflow space for the refrigerator. I have had this GE freezer for less than a month but it is working great. It is maintaining the 0 degree temperature that I want. Easy to find the food I need and the two baskets makes it easy to keep small items together.

It's perfect for storing the meats and frozen items that we get on sale. Very basic. But even the more expensive ones are just bigger and may have better storage racks, We bought some wire containers to separate the varieties so we could lift them out more easily. It was easy for a strong person to get it off the truck, roll it on a low wheeled cart to the back door up a few steps and slide it down to the basement in the box. Note: it says clearly On the box to set it top side up. However we could.not fit it In the truck unless it was on its side. The young man helping to place it In the truck did not advise us not to do that. However my home builder partner said that as long as we did not plug it in for 24 hours it would be fine. And it was and is!

We were looking for a small freezer and went to best buy because we feel very comfortable with the store associates, they are very knowledgeable of the different products and very honest on recommendations .We don't regret buying this freezer , It meet all the requirements on energy saving , price and perfect amount of space .

Bought this freezer for my daughter and her 4 person family. Perfect size and lightweight so easy to move and install.

I was looking for a small freezer that had the Energy Star logo and found it with this freezer! Perfect size and didn't add much to my utility bill. Surprising light weight! Was easy for 2 ladies to get off the truck and put inside the kitchen! Holds quite a bit of food too! Recommend it highly.

Picked up the product after waiting two weeks for delivery and when I got it home, it had a large dent/crease in the side. I turned it on and it worked fine as this was not on compressor side. Took pictures and took to store. They credited my account and made good. Still love the unit.
