Good dryer, but does not dry clothes thoroughly. You need to use timer to ensure clothes get completely dry. Dryer is quiet and controls are easy to use. Overall a good product for the price.

The dryer performs basic drying functions very well. It is quiet and runs smoothly. The moisture sensor appears to stop the drying cycle at the right point where the items are dry but not overly dry such as to become stiff.

Only had for two weeks but anything beats paying $30 each time at the laundromat. Very spacious. Easily fits our king comforter. Dries really quick. Not really much to say it's a dryer that dries!

Love it. Very efficient and uncomplicated. Installed easily and used all existing parts. That was simple.

Pretty easy washer to use. We bought it because it didnt have all the extra gizmos on it. Over all pretty satisfied, I just wish the lights on it turned red when it was done washing. Still a solid washer

Purchased this matching dryer with one of the few remaining washers that you can still select the water load size. Most washers now are all auto sensing which have come a long way but after reading researching I'm going to wait another generation of purchasing an auto sensing washer. Read read read your manual before you operate new appliances. No long are the days of plug and play. With newer appliances attempting to meet energy efficiency standards practicality has taken a back seat. This doesn't mean its a bad dryer. It just means in order to get the drying results you want you have to input the correct settings. I've found the low heat temp. setting just doesn't get warm enough to dry clothes so I've reaulted to the medium heat setting as the new base line. It can fit a queen size comforter and I imagine it would hold a king size. I wish BB did half stars as I'd rate this a 4.5 but given the steep learning curve, non user friendly directions, and the ineffectives of the low heat setting I'll give this dryer a 4 with a positive recommendation. Favorite thing is price and the high quality interior drum. Non-dusted which was a surprise get as this price point.

This dryer works great. It's bigger than my old one and way more efficient!

First let me make it clear the installers are NOT at fault for my issue. They did a great job with what they were provided. However, Best Buy did not provide them with the necessary equipment to complete the installation. They didn’t have a three pronged power cord. It looked pretty simple to install so I decided to just get one from Home Depot and do it myself. Well, GE basically designed the dryer to make it as hard as possible to install the cord. It’s located at the bottom of the dryer so either you angle the dryer against something or you’re laying on the ground. Then the bracket you install the cord strain relief onto doesn’t have enough clearance for the cord strain relief. The work of actually screwing the three prongs into the dryer was comparatively easy. I also knocked the vent duct off during this, which is my fault, and I had to uncrimp the vent and undo the installer’s work. This dryer probably functions fine, but even if it did the installation process is so maddening I’d still give this 3 stars. I’ll definitely be keeping the location of the cord in mind the next time I buy a dryer.

This dryer is just want I needed. It's the right size, it performs well, and this was a good price. Im very happy with this dryer.

Dries SUPER FAST! The inside is HUGE!! My Queen sized comforter fits comfortably inside. It has a light on the inside and a buzzer that lets you know when your load is dry.

Dries very quickly. Surprisingly old fashioned controls for the price but works extremely well.

The capacity is bigger than it looks. The knobs are nice and firm fitting and definitely quieter than our last one.

First one delivered was making a noise,, and Geek squad said it was the drum rubbing on something. Took a week, but now have a new dryer that works great. The Geek squad guys did a great job balancing the machine and sizing my venting to fit correctly.

It was definitely time for an upgrade and this is such a good choice. I got the matching washer about a year ago when mine went out, so it was so great when the dryer went on sale right around the time I needed a dryer!

We knocked a star off because the first one that was delivered made a noise, like a coin rolling around in drum while clothes were drying, though the noise was coming from below the drum. Best Buy however was great in making an exchange for a new one. This does not have any bells and whistles which is what we were looking for. I like that it doesn't seem to overheat the clothes, and I liked that it has both the Sensor Dry and Auto Dry (one is temperature based and one is moisture sensing based). Enough features for what we need. The only thing that is annoying is the sound on the lowest setting is SO LOUD. Fortunately, you can turn it off completely. But if you keep it on, for some reason, it buzzes twice before the cycle is complete. We like that you can reverse the door, and that we have a side vent option - though we realized it will require some handiwork and additional expense per the instructions to make it vent to the side.
