Overall, a great unit and the only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars was because the unit arrived cosmetically damaged, however BestBuy was able to give us a partial refund. The unit itself works fine though and we would still highly recommend it.

I am pleased with my recent purchase, the dryer is simple to operate.

Total tech member since 2019 means nothing, my gas dryer was approved for replacement after replacing the drum twice among other parts only causing the noises to get worse this began back in the middle of October 2024. The new dryer was delivered at 7am on 1-13-25, scratched and dented. They disconnected my old dryer and the new gas line I purchased from Best Buy was not the correct size. This is the 2nd time they have installed a gas dryer for me, as well as a gas range that first arrived dented and they had to bring another unit. So now I have no dryer and no estimated time frame of when a new undamaged dryer will be delivered. I was told by the installation crew to return the gas line to Best Buy and get the correct size and they would come back and install the new dryer today. Sent a message to the crew that I had the correct gas line and no response. So I begin trying to get an answer from Best Buy, the first call I was on hold for an hour and a half, then the first rep was rude and offered no assistance, got ahold of Mary and was hung up on. Transferred to Anna with the department for escalation so I was told, and after repeating my name, number, and email address about 8 times to different people Kevin was the last person I spoke with. Still have no answer on when I will have a dryer delivered. I have purchased a matching washer and dryer, a gas range and most recently a new dish washer.

I love it, the best dryer, I recommended to my family and friends.

Works beautifully and built well. No touch pads so this machine should last for many years!

Dryer is not sealed properly to prevent lint from getting into the blower fan and clogging the vent. Dryer is only 9 months old and started making a grinding noise. Called Best Buy and they sent a technician to trouble shoot. He found the blower fan was clogged and told me this dryer is a poor design and has leaks for lint to go around the filter screen causing the fan to clog with lint. He cleaned it out with a screw driver and vacuum cleaner. He said there is no way to prevent this from happening again because of the leaks. This is a safety issue and needs the manufacture to fix the design. I plan to exchange for another dryer brand.

Love it! Would definitely recommend and the capacity is great!!

It's all about appearance which i have to look at everyday. The unit seems to run fine however the door sticks out away from the rest of the body. I feel this should be a flush fit for the door. The door also was difficult to open and you had to slam it to close causing the dryer to move around on the floor. Regarding the door which is the issue with me was replaced as the service company explained would help. It did on the opening and closing however the look is the same. All of the competitors are a flush fit for the door for a neat look. I had numerous emails with GE service and finally telling me that is the way it is and should be and to go back where I purchased it and complain that they don't exchange or take returns. This will just be a reminder to me when i go to replace the washer. I have been a loyal GE customer with 6 other appliances purchased within the last 18 months. This does not make me happy at all. Just thought that I would advise others to think twice before buying this product looking at the whole unit it appears as Cheap construction. Thanks for listening to me.

This dryer works well. The only issue is that the lint screen is a little difficult to get in and out.

Rolls large items in ball. Have to constantly shake them out to dry properly. Otherwise, heat is adequate & runs okay.

I wanted a dryer that I could dry queen size comforters and blankets, but most of the dryers had too many extra features and high prices. This dryer is simple to use and dries everything faster than my old dryer. I’m really happy with my purchase. The guys that set it up and took my old dryer were fast and great. They made sure it was working perfectly and let it run a couple seconds to show it heated—they even left me with 2 boxes of Bounce sheets. They were fast—total of about 12 minutes. I did have to buy the electrical cords and pay the small amount to take away my old dryer, but still so much cheaper than the fancy dryers with features I didn’t need (plus If you get the extra features there’s more stuff that can break). I read other reviews and researched a lot when finally deciding on this dryer. Extremely happy with dryer.

This dryer is awesome! It dries faster that my older Maytag I had. I can dry my large quilt in it and only need to run it one cycle instead of multiple times. This dryer is super quiet and could barely tell it was on unless I was standing so close to it. The timer cycles 3x as it’s cooling down to let you know it’s at the end of the drying process. It can be turned off but it doesn’t bother me because it’s in the basement. It is helpful if you need to know when it’s done!
