A great dryer and I love the wireless option. Wished that the end of cycle sound was louder. The only confusing thing was the dryness level options. I thought that it was how dry the clothes were before putting them in the washer. The option is for how dry you would like the clothes when they come out of the dryer.

Replaced or fridgidaire unit that was about 5 years old and this one is much better. The venting system is nice and I like that I can fill the soap and not have to do it wax time.

They sent us home from the store with a special hose kit for the water hook-up. But, the installer said our unit had no water connection. Our model is GFD65ESSN0WW

In reality, setting up the dryer in the app was a pain, and it didn’t stay connected. Even, on very rare occasions, when it was connected in the app, I still didn’t receive notifications on my phone when the dryer was done. And it more easily can notify me about how many dryer sheets I have left - useless, I have no problem seeing my dryer sheets are low and buying more. I have made many attempts to connect to the app, and multiple calls to technical support, I give up. Just a “dumb” dryer for me. In addition to the smart complaints, I can’t seem to find a single preset that properly dries my clothes, I have to program a manual timed dry every time.

Future potential buyers please note there is a metal piece inside the dryer, near the filter, that will destroy your clothes. Otherwise, it does its job as intended.

Washer arrived defective with a valve issue installers didn’t detect. Scheduling service took entirely too long and was a pain. They require the model number and serial number before scheduling service, but they sold me the washer and dryer and should have it in their records right there in front of them. Instead they make me chase it down before they’ll begin to schedule a repair.

Washer works well however dryer does not start. We were about 3 days past warranty and Bestbuy could not accept refund or send out technician. We finally had someone come out from Ge they will be sending another technician in 4 days. I didn’t expect for the machine to no work at all, it has issues with the on and off/touch pad
