    I am reviewing this just after a year of owning this unit. Dont get me wrong I love GE items but this one has been getting worse everyday. Coils consistently freeze over which then we have to shut it off for them to melt when it is 90+ outside. It is consistently spitting up water all over the floor. It worked great when we first bought it but is barely lasting this summer now that the warranty is gone on the unit.

      Thanks for sharing your experience. For help with the coils freezing issue, set the mode control to High Fan or High Cool with the temperature setting as high as it can be set. If water is leaking inside then there's a good chance the air conditioner is not tilted to the outside. For proper disposal, make sure the air conditioner slants slightly from the case front to the rear.     This is cooling slightly more than 700sq. ft and does not run constantly. Highly recommend.
