Loud , freeze up multiple times, doesn't go lower then 64. Has shroud to circlate water onto fans . Terrible design but i was in a bind and needed one.

A cool evening in which the outdoor temperature is below 70°F is one possible reason for a window air conditioner to freeze up. To prevent ice on coils do not run the unit if the outdoor temperature is below 70°F. If the temperature is close to 70 or you are unsure of the temperature, you can turn the thermostat to a warmer setting and set the fan switch to the highest position. This allows for better airflow across the coils. Also, be sure the filter is cleaned every 30 days or more often as needed. Our room air conditioners have a "slinger ring" around the rear fan blade. The ring is designed to pick water up off the bottom of the pan and throw it against the condenser coils. This design feature helps improve the efficiency of the unit by reducing heat on the coils and helps to remove moisture from the base pan. This process will make a pinging or sloshing sound as the fan blade moves through the water. If your air conditioner freezes up during the heat of the day, we recommend reviewing the terms of your warranty found on page 17 of the online Owner's Manual. WORTHLESS BROKEN absurd customer service

Stopped working after 10 days of work sing it. The screen and the settings are changing randomly or not working at all. I have called about it, but they want me to send it back to the factory. Guess who is paying for that. Me of course. Then I have to wait for many weeks, till I get something else. If it is approved that it is broken. What a mess. Never buy GE again or through Best buy!

if you have not already done so, try disconnecting the power to your air conditioner for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. If the issues persist once power is restored, check with the store to determine their policy regarding an exchange. Didnt fit in window due to the pegs on the bottom of the unit. Instead of a bar on the bottom it has 2 little feat that hold up all of the weight.

After 2 weeks of using it , it shut off and wouldn’t go back on so we returned it . They did not have the 14,000 btu unit in stock so we got the 12,000 btu unit instead . Best Buy returned it and adjusted price with new one . No problems .

When the window unit was delivered the deliver guy just place it at the front door. I bought it on 4/11 and today I opened it the box and it had something oily on it. The unit is making a loud noise. Now I can't be return it unreturnable as of 5/1. I

I would give a zero rating if i could. Bought AC, had to exchange it because it stopped working just a few days after the return period. Got another. Same thing just happened! What a piece of junk!

A blinking WiFi light indicates that the unit is connecting. To learn more, see the WiFi Setup section on page 15 of the Owner’s Manual, which can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the product page of the Best Buy website. Only worked one summer, 3 months. Stores it away for the winter and took it out for this summer and it doesn’t even blow cold air. Not worth your money at all. This is the second GE that only lasted one summer.

My review is not so much based on the product, but the absolute horrific customer service. My item arrived with both physical and mechanical damage- they offered zero satisfactory resolutions, and were completely unwilling to to rectify the situation. I will never shop with Best Buy, again.
