This A.C. is an excellent unit. It makes my room really cold every day during the summer.

The device does not work well as it says in the instructions

The a/c bottom cover is broken and too much hustle to exchange a new one

It doesn't get cold enough. Lowest temp is 64°. I have a lot of disabilities and I need to get it cold in here. If it happens to cool off at night, it's not like I can turn it on fan since that would blow in here in the mid 70s. I thought ac units were supposed to get down to 60. Nowhere anywhere does it say anything about the temperature. It's still sometimes cool at night here and it'll be like having the heater on if I use it as a fan. Or I'll just waste electricity running it on its lowest temp which still won't be enough because it will be colder outside. We won't be able to use our oven or toaster because they throw off enough heat for this to be useless. Which is why I need something that will get down to 60 or even less. I have it in my kitchen, which isn't huge. I have a bunch of industrial fans on the floor to get the air around. The unit was 2 feet away from the thermostat in the adjacent room that has no door in between. And after hours, the thermostat didn't change. I have fans blowing air into my room. There's no way this is supposed to cool 700 square feet. I'm going to be tripping on fans All summer because I can't just use this thing by itself. I'm sick and I needed help with everything to do with this thing. Now I don't know how to change it. I might as well just have gotten some free ones from the side of the road. It's already installed and I spent all my money. I was so excited to get something new. Now I'm stuck with it. I'm gonna have to go find some older ones and fill all the other windows in the apartment just to make it cool enough. 64 degrees? What are they thinking? Useless. I had fans blowing in all night and then closed the windows at 7am. By the afternoon it was around 74 inside. And then by the time we got this in, turned it on for awhile, the thermostat was still at 74. It's gonna be in the lower 60s at night s few nights coming up and even down to the 50s. But I will have to use this thing and basically be like having the heater on. Useless. If you like the cold. Do not buy this thing. Unfortunately it doesn't say anything anywhere about how low it goes. I definitely would never have bought it and wasted my time and money. I can't take it out and return it. I wouldn't even know how. I can't physically do that either. So basically I bought an overpriced heater when I already have heat. And it's supposed to make everything cold.

The box and ac were pretty beat up but i installed it against my best judgement. It did not work and i was tasked with taking this 80 lb torn up box and all its components back to a best buy store since i was told to exchange it. The store had maybe 3 units that werent even the same kind. They were portable. This was a terrible experience

Works great, I would purchase again if I needed another window air conditioner unit. Install wasn't that bad. It wasn't too heavy, but we did need two people to lift it. The display is big, so it's easy to see across the room. Three things I don't like: #1. The display does not stay on constantly, so if you have to check what the temp. is on, you have to click on the remote, or on the unit itself to make it come back up. #2. The thing you turn to change what direction the wind goes, doesn't seem to do much good. #3. Even though it does cool very well, and I am happy with that, it doesn't seem to push the air out as good as the last window ac unit I had, but this one still does great. Hope this helps the next person. Overall, I'd still give it a 5 start because it did great during the summer.

Perfect size. Runs good and easy to install. My AC went out and this was a perfect last minute solution.

This little fella is a tank. My house has an open floor plan, my central air went out and I picked this thing up during the same day. The first day my house went from 89 degrees to 64 degrees. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. My house is roughly 1000 sqft and this thing doesn't bat an eye at it. Runs quiet, kicks off automatically, I couldn't more impressed.

This ac worked amazing i reccomend letting it sit upright in the winodw for atleast a few hours so it will run properly no issues. i love that it instantly takes no time for it to cool down the room once its running and its honestly not to loud or noises pretty quite compared to other ones i have had before.

fantastic unit, i use this in my kitchen. I live in florida and do have central air, but when cooking it gets hot in the kitchen (especially if I open the windows if i am cooking meat and it gets smokey). So this unit really helps cool down that kitchen after cooking. I also have the 10000btu I keep in our master bedroom which sees much more use overnight. This one I just use on an off as needed but is still wonderful. I have also hooked it to our generator during power outages which does a great job at keeping the main living area well liveable when the central air is off. Its also nice you can control through the smartthings application on a phone

This GE Air Conditioner is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. It is blue tooth compatible and has Alexa google assistant. My home is a lot cooler now. Thank you Best Buy for the remarkable price and exceptional services.

Very satisfied with this a/c unit. It was simple to install, and for the size of it, it cools a large area of my home. The smartphone app setup was pretty good, there was a little difficulty linking to wifi but I would not deduct any stars for that; to me, that functionality is a 'nice to have'.

Works great and not too loud. Replacing my old one with this model saved me money on my electric bill too.

Good. Cooling down is fast and easy to install. It is a bit noisy but mostly from outside.

This purchase was made for a home that my client purchased without central ac. It was a small home about 900 sq fr. This unit was perfect to cool the entire home. The selection was good and the sales associate loaded it on the cart for me and into my trunk! I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Easy to install, cools better than expected, great buy.
