The open area to pour in the water is rediculously tiny. The water level numbers on the carafe are almost invisible. It does however, make very good coffee.

Couple loud pops 4weeks later on morning of April 18 and it no longer works, heating element must have gone bad. Worked great until it just stopped. Best Buy would not facilitate a return and too much of a hassle to send back to GE, so it is now in the trash Dont waste your time buying the product.

Simple, Well Designed Coffee Maker

I like the stainless steel design; it looks great on the counter and doesn’t take up too much space. It also feels very sturdy and I like the twist-off top design for the carafe instead of the snap-in plastic hinge that often breaks on other coffee pots I’ve used. It’s dead simple to use and clean and coffee out of it tastes good. Not much else to say about it, but if you’re looking for a simple, high quality coffee maker you can’t go wrong with this one.

Wake up and smell the coffee
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GE’s newest coffee maker is a simple no frills design, looks very durable and well-made, The carafe itself is made of glass, while the coffee maker itself is made of plastic and stainless steel. Very easy to use and program, you can set a timer so that you always have fresh coffee waiting for you in the mornings or whatever time of your choosing. Clean up is very easy and the filter itself never needs replacing. Coffee comes out great.

No a big fan of the carafe because there's a "lip" that doesn't let you fully empty the coffee without turning it nearly upside-down. It's also awkward to pour the water into the reservoir.
