The smart plug works well, but the setup is a bit troublesome. The plug and the phone have to on the same wifi network to set up. The plug is disconnected from the network sometimes.

These are decent enough -- they're the same body as everyone els's. The software is passable, at least. Like everyone else packaging this unit, they're a little hit or miss, sometimes exhibit unusual behaviors, but *for the price* they're okay. Home Assistant compatibility would be ideal, but I knew going in that it would be a struggle to get these working there. It's fine. These are... fine.

I’m very satisfied with these plugs. I bought them because our basement is wired funny and if you flip off the light switch it cuts the power not only to the lights but our dehumidifier, sump pump and deep freezer (it’s an old house). So basically our basement lights were always on. Trying to cut back on energy costs I bought these to be able to control just the fluorescent light strips we have that plug into an outlet. The plugs took me maybe 2 minutes to set up once I created an account on the GE app. Also, I really like that I don’t have to turn off each light individually unless I wanted to. It let me create a room and it will cut the power to both plugs at the same time with one tap. Hopefully we notice a difference in our energy bill. Definitely interested in investing in more of these in the future.

I purchased a few C by GE Smart Bulbs and didn't realize they wouldn't work with Alexa without a C by GE hub. Luckily this plug serves that purpose. My Smart Bulbs now work with my Alexa thanks to this. It was the cheapest option out of the C by GE hubs.

This is the best way to have smart lights for cheap. I use these with my lamps and Christmas lights. They work with google well and are very easy to set up.

Once I figured out how the toggle works when setting a schedule these work great. It took me several days of messing with their crappy app to get the schedule to work the way I wanted. For a little background I have spent the last 18yrs in wireless retail, so tech and setting things up using my phone is not a new experience for me, I have troubleshoot countless customer problems with devices. This app is just poorly worded and unnecessary complicated for something as simple as setting a schedule to turn my xmas tree lights on and off.

Got one of these smart plugs free with the purchase of a christmas tree at another store. Liked it so much that we purchased another plug here since it was on sale. Connects easily to google home and works great!

Works better than other brands! Not complicated to set up! App is easy to use. Other brands tend to only work on certain wifi signal.

Rating this a 4 because I have not set these up yet. But I am currently using another brand that is outdated so I am looking forward to switching my lamps and other items to these smart plugs.

Super easy to set up. I have even reset it (due to my own errors) since owning it. We have have a few actually. One is for and essential oil atomizer. About 10 minutes before anyone gets home, it turns on. I have another one I am pretty much just playing with but no worries at all. Pairs with our Google Hub stuff super easy.

This are great had purchased Wemo smart plugs they always lost connection and would never connect so I replaced all the plugs with this Model. Very easy to setup and worth the price since they lowered it by $5 less

This smart plug works well. I bought it to have my Christmas tree on a timer. The directions for it to work with Alexa are vague but I figured it out.

I have used several different brands for my smart home options and GE Cync has by far been the best experience and they do not cost an arm and a leg!

Fairly easy to set up but I've had some issues with getting it into the Google home app. I've linked it through the cync app (used to be c by GE) but I know the problem is in large part due to the Google home app not having the best controls for importing external products. It works well and I like the button for physically turning it on and off and the WiFi connection is also solid.

This indoor plug was super easy to setup and to use. I had to download the CYNC app on my iPhone to setup and use. There is a local on/off button on the plug that is a nice feature. The only improvement that I would recommend is to make the plug compatible with Apple Home app. Other than this, I like this product very much.

Excellent device, easy to turn on/off on the side to override the schedule. The biggest issue is the C by GE app - not very intuitive!

The smart plug is easy to set up and easy to control it’s features. The best feature is that it is a smart bridge to link and control your other “C by GE” smart devices. Though not needed for bulbs to be linked and controlled, the smart plug & bridge makes the other “C by GE” devices linked and controlled through Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth. This enables full control of the other Devices wherever you are during your day! I love the “C by GE” product line and will only be purchasing them for any and all of my smart device additions.
