I was looking for something to light my stairs at night, I went with these due to the price and features. The lights are extremely easy to install and attach with pre installed double sided tape. I purchased one main set and two extensions and it was the perfect fit as I didn’t have to cut the lights. If you do need to cut them, they have pre marked spots to cut. Thru the app, you can set schedules for the lights to come on and turn off, this was one of the main features I wanted. You can choose from tons of different colors also. The lights can be very bright, you can control the brightness thru the app. My lights are set @ 10% brightness in my pics. The only critique I have is I would like to see an update to the app that makes setting schedules a little easier. If you need more light in an area or just want some cool led lights that are easy to control...these are it!

LEDs are super bright! I have both the direct connect and the full wifi. With the direct connect it seems as though you can either use the C by Ge app, or your smart home device(Google home), but not both. It’s a little misleading, and took me a while to figure out, and the documentation was not very helpful, however, after getting it setup, they work great. I purchased two of the 40in extensions as well and the lights make my room look bright as day. The adhesive that you would use to apply these to the wall is absolute garbage however, and it would not stick to the wall. If you buy these, I would also recommend getting some command hooks as they make the installation quick and painless.

Cool colored LED strips controlled by Alexa. This is probably our 5th set. We have them above our cabinets, in the kids rooms etc. Easy to change the mood with different colors and brightness settings. I recommend. Oh yeah the app is easy too.

Having a blast with these lights. Set the lighting for all the different games, they look fantastic on my mantle. Needs some help on the adhesive though is the only downside

Picked this up for $25 with my BestBuy points. Initially had problems syncing the GE app with my router/modem. Took about 5 tries and finally worked. App is easy to use and plenty of features with this product. Extremely bright!

I like the quality of light the strip provides. However, I've had a few issues with WiFi connectivity. I also needed to replace the mounting adhesive on the receiver withing a couple of weeks.

Cant recommend, terrible connectivity and glitchy app. The 3M tape provided doesn not stick either.

absolutely love the cync light strips, makes watching tv more easier at night when not using the Cync Light Blubs. definitely recommend them

Ther nicelights but i cant get them to change colors

These were super easy to set up. They work great with the app. I used them to illuminate my pantry using the motion sensor for GE as well. Works great and is super cool. Just open the door and the light comes on. Now I can find my food...

Been very happy with using The C by GE product line. This is my 3rd light strip purchase. I use them behind my tv's, they have excellent colors range. Only complaint is the tape is not very sticky, so bought gorilla clear tape to remedy the problem.

Bought it to replace the Monster LED lights because they were malfunctioning. And I like these A LOT more.

Beautiful light but would often disconnect from Wi-Fi

I like this strip of LEDs. They are definitely bright especially the white light. Works with Alexa. Having a little difficulty with Google but really haven’t put a lot of effort into getting it to work. Price was Ok! Only problem I did have was getting the tape to turn into a sharp corner without bunching up. The full length of the Lights also includes the cord. A little misleading having you think the LEDs were 80 inches alone! It was long enough for my purpose.

Installed these under my bed and I love the look! They were easy to install and setup with the app and Google Home.

I have several of these lights around my house. They are really bright and can change the atmosphere of any area just by changing the color. You can go from feeling like you are under the sea with one of the thousands of blue colors, to feeling like you have been transported to Mars in the Doom universe with the various reds. You can easily control these with a google assistant app or the CbyGe app (Which will become the Cync app after this review) The only thing I would advise, is make sure you pick up things to do cable management and command strips to make sure these stay in place just a bit better

This was so easy to install under my desk and the app is pretty easy to use. You can set the color and brightness and it’s very responsive. Tons of color options but it doesn’t do any flashing effects (at least that I’ve found), which still works well for my needs. The only problem I’ve had with this product is in conjunction with other Cync products where I had to chat with the company. If you have multiple of these and have them on opposite ends of the house then they respond better when you put them in different “Homes” in the app. Once we got that resolved then everything has been super responsive.

I have a small bedroom that does not have an overhead light. I put these up & paired them with the motion detector. Now I can just walk into the room and the lights come on!! It lights up the whole room! So much better than the floor lamp that I had in there which would light up around the lamp, but not the rest of the room. I have the lights set on a timer through the app, so I don't have to worry about turning them off either. I can also control them through my alexa. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I didn't care for the user interface of the app, but now that I've got it set up the way I want, I really don't need to use the app anymore.
