The phone sound is very clear, has adjustable volume and excellent range. Would have preferred to be able to select from more than one voice for the answering machine but one voice is all that is needed to get the job done. Instructions are plentiful, well written, and in a type size that doesn't require you to get out a magnifying glass to read them.

I was looking for something with good sound quality and easy operation for my 84 year old aunt. She was able to perform all the functions within a couple days with little effort. The volume is loud enough and she uses the speakerphone to hear even better. She likes it and thinks I am wonderful for finding it! Win - Win!

Was able to setup quickly. We hadn't used a home phone line for awhile, but it was free in the latest cable bundle so I got this as a backup line to our cell phones. I have the main base in my basement office and the extension in the kitchen next to wife's laptop. Extension base is very small so it doesn't take up much space and only needs power plug in (no line to a phone jack)-- wife likes that this doesn't add clutter to her space. Found that we still get telemarketer calls on this line (partly why we dropped house phone in the first place), but we just turn the ringer off on the extension set and can still see the caller ID in the handset window that illuminates when a call is coming in. I leave the ringer on for the main base handset and Mrs can use the intercom to ring me in the office yet doesn't have to deal with telemarketer rings. With a glance at the main lighted handset, I can see whether it's a legitimate call or not. Sound quality seems good, but haven't yet used speaker feature or used either handset for many calls to get a good basis for that, or tested the range or durability.

I'm not a heavy phone user and don't want to be. I decided it was time to buy a new cordless after about 12 years. I've always heard GE was a good brand, so I picked this. It has a lot of features, which I'm sure appeal to most people. I can't say I'll probably use most of them. What can I say? It's just a phone.

I bought these on a Deal of the Day. They were much better than I expected. They have many features that my old phones did not have, Good sound quality. The phone and answering machine automatically set time and date when there is a power outage.

I have had various phones of this type, but it is especially easy to use with magicjack plus and its satellite phone is equal to the base system; the answering system (digital) is far better than my 2 previous ones. I am more than satisfied with this digital phone system.

Had the phones for three weeks now, and everything is working great on them. Push to talk between phones is great if you have them in different rooms, instead of yelling across the house. Speaker phone is great and I always seem to use this instead of keeping the phone in my ear. Built in address book is great, I programmed 20 numbers we use and just like our cell phone scroll through and bring up the number. I don't know if there is a jack for a headset, and that so far would be it only downfall.

I thought this would work out ok as it had all the features I'd want. But, when I was in phonebook and and dialed someone only to realized a moment later that I was dialing a wrong line(landline rather than the persons mobile), I was unable to stop the phone from dialing. This happened to me more than once and I thought I must have been doing something wrong, as all phones allow you to hang up before the person answers, but this one did not. When I called customer service to see if I was doing something wrong, I was told there was no way to stop a call midstream. I found this too annoying and returned the phone. Bought a Uniden instead and it works much better.

We needed a basic land line phone answering system with at least one extra phone. For the price the phone is a good value. Very easy to set up the answering system and address book. The range is good.

Great house phone, easy set up and easy to use. Some times either I push the buttons too fast that they don't dial the numbers that I hit. That is a little frustrating but I have to be patient and it will work fine.

I needed a 2 handset cordless phone for my new apartment. This one was on clearance for $30. It does the job and the price was unbeatable for a reputable brand. Even has a built in answering machine. Great value!

They are ok considering we don't use our home phones that much. But I just feel you need a land line. I like the fact that if I need additional lines I can just order additional phones.

I needed a inexpensive home phone, I don't use it much so I didn't want to spend a lot on it and this was perfect and even had a extra handset so it worked great.

I bought this as a deal of the day. The phone works well, nothing difficult about that part. The only problem we have is the volume on incoming calls. We have tried to turn up the volume when calls come in, but we have it maxed out and you cant hear when someone is calling to decide if you want to pick up. Especially if your in the next room. But if you play back the message, its loud and clear. Not sure if its a manufacturer defect or what, but we have looked it up in the manual and have maxed out the volume.

I had a far more expensive phone set up before this one that went bad. I saw this one on line and purchased it. It came in very quickly and was very easy to get set up and start using. It is a great value for the money. I have been very happy with my purchase. Thanks Best Buy

This phone is good. The paging (intercom) system is fun to play with and can come in handy with a big house. The sound on the phones are real clear when making calls. When you dial you can dial then press send this feature prevents you from misdialing.

Great phone for a great price. Would recommend for home or business.

It is an ok phone. I am having trouble setting up some of the features but really I just need to answer the phone. The second phone makes it easy to have one in another room. All in all, I guess you get what you pay for.

Good price on daily special, set this up and changed my ATT plan to save $25 a month with the built-in answering machine. Can't judge durability after only 10 days, the bases seem a bit flimsy.
