i bought this as a test ,,and because it was on sale $30 and more off with BB rewards ,,, I was a little surprised it worked as i am about 40 miles from nyc channel towers .. I wanted to play by just putting it about 14' up from the ground and got all if not most of the channels .and can stand on the ground to put up and take down ,, with out having to climb on the roof .. however, i also bought a bigger antenna with 80 miles range which is about 3 times bigger and of course it worked better pulling in the signal at the same height .. but my final plan to use this smaller antenna is to go up about 24 feet to pull in philly stations in the opposite direction ... and expect the GE to work fine since philly towers are about 40 miles too ... Tip for all wanting a use ota antenna ,, the bigger the better, , the higher the better ,, and of course point it at the right direction ,, go to either of these 2 website to determine your direction to point ... because it gives you a map to make super easy to find .. antennaweb.org nocable.org

The broadcast towers in my area are positioned southeast and southwest, 45-50 miles away. The Mohu Leaf 50 and Terk Indoor Plate didn't provide enough stable signal strength and over time became more frustrating. Though, I didn't want to spend more money on yet another antenna, if I wanted to watch some semblance of TV I had little choice but to opt for another antenna. I found the GE Pro Outdoor antenna at my local Best Buy. The GE Pro is similar to the RCA Compact Outdoor Yagi HDTV antenna. I happen to have this antenna, it performs perfectly. I hoped the GE Pro would work as well. My only reservation, the size, judging by the measurements (27.2"h x 39.2"w x 19.2" d) I wasn't sure it would fit in the area I chose. Despite its size, I bought it anyway. As I started unpacking it, I was surprised to see it didn't seem to be as big as originally thought. After a few minutes spent reading the manual, it was assembled in less than 10 minutes. As a point of reference, I am 58 and female. The antenna was placed in the rafters of my garage (see photo). Running the first channel scan provided me with 50+ channels. The signal strength is stable and the picture quality is amazing.

This antenna is small but very powerful! It pulls in many channels previously unavailable!

We bought this antenna in hopes to get local channels and do away with cable. Easy to install. We put it on the pole the satellite dish was on and used current cable from that. Works Great! We get around 50 channels. Stations from two different markets.

At first I was a bit skeptical as to the ability of the GE - Pro Outdoor Yagi Directional Antenna to pick up a signal, but after a simple assembly process, I quickly had it up and picking up High Definition TV Signals without issue. I was focused on a couple of channels, but, this antenna provided pickup for over 13 channels. I was surprised as the the signal quality and it's range.

Great reception and easy installation. This is all you need!

I can now receive local stations in high definition from all jacks in my home clearer than over cable.

It works almost just as good as the other antenna I have. I was hoping it would pick up a few more channels that my neighbor gets but I don't. No luck there. However, it works wonderful as an FM antenna for my radio so I'm gonna keep it.

Bad news first. Assembly instructions were very small, I have very old eyes. Good news, it's easy enough to assemble by the box pictures. I like that it's not a huge antenna. I got this on sale for $20 on bb deal of the day. this was purchased for a remote location up north. It got the channels I expected it to. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

I looked at a lot of other antennas and this one was the best. Now that I have it installed I am very happy with it’s performance.

Very clear picture on my 4k television. Friends couldn't believe it was coming from an antenna. They liked it so much that they went out and bought one also.

Mounting bracket is good quality and offered a variety of positions. Reception in HD is good at 50 miles plus.

We purchased this for a TV we put on our screened in porch. The box stated the range was 75 miles and we get stations over 100 miles away with it mounted under our elevated deck. You will have to try orienting in different directions to get get the best reception.

Increased my reception inside greatly. I have been cable free for about 5 years now and this seemed to be the obvious choice in place of those indoor antennas. easy to install and get working.

The antenna was easy to set-up, mounted the antenna about 25' on a galvanized steel pole, received clear picture from stations approximately 74 miles from my location in all directions.
