This is our second GE Advantium. This one is for our vacation home. We love the features and capabilities. It looks great with the GE Profile Range.

Love the product. Only wish the clock would remain visible

Never delivered as installers sent it back as it was badly damaged. Still no microwave

Basically I replaced the standard over the range GE microwave with this unit. Yes it is expensive but does much more that a microwave only device. The buttons and choices all light up when you touch the oven which makes the choices easy to read day or night. Scrolling and pressing the knob on the front works well once you develop the new protocol and saving your personal preferred microwave food cooking labels is easy. One thing to note-- the microwave portion is only 900 watts so you will have to bump up your usual cooking times if you do microwave ONLY cooking with this. I have tested the other cooking functions but have not used them. Basically I use this as a very expensive over the range microwave, cook top light, and vent system. I like the extra cooking features to be available if I should need them. Best Buy delivery and installation was great and there were no problems encountered. It does fit in the traditional 30" microwave hood space that every new kitchen builder uses these days. You will NOT be able to use the old GE microwave wall mount bracket and you will have to use the GE Advantium bracket that comes with the unit.

We are pleased with our new GE Advantium microwave oven. It does the job. It comes with many conveniences. I do wish the time stayed illuminated.

I haven’t worked this to its potential yet, so this isn’t a comprehensive review. My wife totally hates that you can’t select an exact microwave time. It is set in 15 sec increments. It does a righteous grilled cheese sandwich. Crispy on the outside and gooey inside. I have done a couple of steaks and burgers in it. They were ok. There isn’t a medium rare or rare choice, so you have to watch closely. It is also extremely good at warming leftover pizza on the convection oven mode. I am still experimenting and playing and haven’t lost enthusiasm for it yet. My wife however says it was a waste of money.

This replaced our 17 year old same model. My husband thinks I'm crazy but I just dont think it is as powerful as our old one even though same wattage. For some reason the clock doesn't stay on and tried everything to figure how to keep it displaying. That is a minor flaw but it is quite annoying of looking at the time for 17 years and it no longer being there. The metal is also hard to keep clean. Very streaky.

I hope this new Advantium lasts as long as my previous one that I had for 18 years. The size fits perfectly in my prior space. One feature I miss is that the digital clock only stays on while the unit is in use. Also, the metal filters on the bottom could be better quality. Other then that I love the Advantium.

Best microwave we have owned. The cookie halogen feature works great and the microwave features work great. Only issue is the clock does not stay on, but not that big of a deal. A little bit expensive though

Works great, some small scratch marks in stainless finish and the top of the door does not close totally flush as the bottom. Maybe a bit bent, but all-in-all good. Paid a bunch to have the "speed cook" feature, but loved that with are old unit and had to have it.

Have been a fan of GE advantium microwave for years. Replaced my older model of 10 plus years while still operating but trying to be proactive. The replacement has some great improvments such as a lighted control panel. Very helpful for me. Additionally what was once a compaint (lound exhaust fan) has been nicely corrected to where the fan is much quieter. I love this GE appliance and use it daily.

This is my second GE Advantium Microwave oven I owned. For all its functions I would have given this product 5 stars. The fan location and size was redesigned from the previous model I owned. I find the fan useless. My stove steam from cooking pasta goes just by the microwave and makes the door of the microwave and my furniture wet. This is an under-powered bad designed fan.

This is the second unit we bought this year. We purchased the first unit for our house and then decided to move so we bought the second unit for the new house. We missed having the unit.

Multiple options and ways - to cook. Easier to program and work with, and avoid heating up the house with an oven.

Outstanding product. Our second Advantium oven at half the price of the competitors. Looks and works great and matches well with the Profile slide-in range.
