    Great product and very well made. Options are endless with what one can do with this appliance. I bought this to replace the same earlier device that lasted 17 years!!

    Microwave, what microwave.

    Wish I could tell you what I thought about the actual microwave, the first one had a bad control panel. I had someone doing other work already so I just picked it up. Because of this when I discovered that I had a defective unit, I learned I needed to to either pay again to have either them or my contractor to come out and get it down, then I would get to pay again to reinstall. I’ve installed microwaves in the past with just myself and my wife, that was quite a few years ago she’s 69 years old and I’m not far behind and currently being treated for cancer with chemotherapy. Dealing with their “customer service “ is a joke. So now I’m waiting and waiting and waiting. I’ve gotten a couple of emails saying, sorry we won’t be able to meet our delivery commitment. At this point I don’t even know when I will get the new one, sometime in October…I think. Then I will get to deal with reinstalling, I sure hope the next one isn’t defective too.

    This Advantium Microwave has outstanding features and intuitive controls. So far everything works great, would recommend to those who want more than basic microwave cooking.

    Broke down after first use of Speed Cook

    My old Adventium unit which I had for over a dozen years and loved it, broke down and it was time to get a new one. I thought it would be best to go with the same model. The first time we used the speed cook feature of the new unit, it fried the control board (my assumption). It kept making noises even when turned off. When I looked inside through the vents inside the unit, I could see it kept trying to move the flaps that open and close the vents. For such an expensive appliance, GE needs to do a better QA job. I had BB come back and pick it up. The whole experience has been very stressful. I would have preferred to have it fixed but BB Geek Squad wouldn't repair this unit and GE cancelled my appointments three times.

    I love the many ways you can use this. Standard microwave, speed cook and bake. I love that you can select your food and automatically sets the time and temperature.

    Bought the unit because we have had them in the past and they are great. Never thought that you would need to set the time on the unit before you could use it and then have the screen go blank after 30 seconds. The manual states that there is no override to allow the time to stay on the screen at all times due to DOE regulations

    We were assured by your representative that it would be able to be installed. We gave the dimensions and descriptions.We were assured that it would work. When the men came to install it, they just laughed and said it could not be done. We cannot use it until we find someone who can install it. Now it is still in the box in our living room.

    We had our last Advantium for 20 years. Our new one has some new features but is working great. I couldn’t cook without one! Everything cooks faster. Pizza and rolls crisp so nicely.

    This is the best combo microwave and convection oven. We had one in our previous house and had to change out the std microwave in our new house with another GE combo.
