A very poor job by Best Buy misleading the buyer by posting wrong dimensions in their web page . This oven is huge compared to what ever is advertised and doesn’t even fit my space . Check the dimensions what ever Best Buy is showing and the actual dimensions on the box that I posted below . It’s going back right away .

Overall I enjoyed the design and quality of this microwave, but after just over a year of use it started making a grinding noise and we saw a flame inside while testing it. For what it’s worth I got another one of the exact model because I think it may have been just been defective. That said I can’t recommend it until I can use the new one long enough to ensure it isn’t poor quality.

Needed an exact size microwave and this one matched up ok. It was an open box. I bought the kit from eBay to get an ok match.

Attractive and nicely finished. The problem is that as you open or close the door the unit moves around. The front supports are extended from the case, but the rears are just bumps in the case. It does not set level, the rear is lower than the front so the unit does not set level. If you are building the unit into a cabinet note the hinge on the left side of the door will have to clear any surround as it is lower than the bottom of the door.

Great company but a terrible product as I purchased from Best Buy which has only 14 day return period and took me a week to get this installed in my kitchen as I had to replace my whirlpool microwave after 12 years for a minor issue that could have been fixed but I decided to change to new one and got this GE for almost $500. But after a week of use I am coming to a conclusion that this is a major flaw in this by not putting a door handle and every time we close the door it seems like someone just smashed it hard even how much you try not to make that happen it still does and the thing I’m worried about is that it will very soon be needing the same part which goes behind the door that I had issue with whirlpool after a decade use .

I purchased this oven along with a trim kit to replace a GE Profile microwave hat had worked great for 18 years. I updated my kitchen to stainless steel from black. The door of the microwave and the edge of the trim kit grinder against each other. The installers tried but they could not correct the problem saying it was a manufacturer defect. So A replacement oven and trim kit were ordered and installed. Same problem with the replacements!! The installers were here over 2 1/2 hours and it still wasn't great. Then the next day the door latch broke and I couldn't even open the door!! Best Buy has been working with me and found a Kitchenaid oven and trim kit to use instead. I am awaiting the delivery and install on that. Don't waste your money on this oven! I am shocked at how bad it was.

Good microwave and very quiet. We have used this brand for years. It has a sleek look and is very efficient and easy to use.

It works and fits in the space we need it too. It’s also stainless steel colored so if matched our other appliances.

Our 9 year old GE built-in that the builder gave us in our new home broke down and we wanted to use the existing trim. Did some research and with a slight modification, this one worked! Looks great and we saved a ton of money not having to buy a new trim.

We don’t cook much at home except for things we can put in the Microwave. Have had GE in past so knew it was a quality product. We needed a larger unit so this was a great size. Works well and looks great. Only wish that it had a pull door rather than the push button to open. Apparently the only units that have the pull open are those that are over the range with exhaust and light.

The same model of my old microwave died after 5 years and wanted to purchase the same model again to match with other GE products I have. I personally like the previous model better, and I don't like the push button at all. Every time I push it to open the door, I feel like I'm breaking the button. Otherwise, it's ok. I will see how long this microwave can survive.

Microwave works really well. Simple to use. No safety/electrical issues. Fits multiple dishes inside.

Bought a new construction home in 2016, and the orginal microwave broke. The orginal model was also no longer available; however, with some creativity, I made this one fit with the pre-exisiting trim kit.

This microwave worked fine when it was working. But it doesn’t last long. The replacement microwave lasted about a year. $489 is too much to spend for a year’s use. Plus we had a $179 trim kit that’s useless bcuz the microwave is discontinued.

I bought this as part of a kitchen remodel along with the Cafe Appliances fridge, slide-in range and dishwasher in Black Slate. I absolutely hate stainless steel appliances so was really happy to find this color and finish - more sophisticated than standard shiny black. The micro works fine - it's quiet, sensor cook function worked as expected for two baked potatoes last night. The interior is much roomier (taller) than I had expected, so that's a bonus. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the moderately cheap feel of the push-in door handle - get the feeling that it is going to be the first thing to fail...

Love the quality and value of this microwave. Hat the trim kit however, an overpriced piece of plastic that is proprietary.
