The Not So Good: I would have given a 5, but there are some design flaws that should be fixed: 1) the very top shelf of the freezer that hides the ice on/off function should be easier to take out, as you have to remove it to set the ice off or on. A better design idea would be to have a small window cutout in front of the ice paddle so you can turn the ice function on or off with your finger. An even better idea would be to have the ice on/off feature be part of the external control area. My last fridge had that and I liked it. 2) the refrigerator rolls out when you open the door because there are no leveling legs. I fixed that by cutting out felt pads with a sticky back and putting them in front of the wheels. Works great. The Good: 1) I really like the counter depth and it provides ample space for a single person. I have almost too much room in the freezer! 2) It is much quieter than my previous fridge! Much of the time it is totally silent. 3) The ice is well formed! My last fridge had real problems with the ice maker (ice cubes were not solidly formed and I had to defrost it once a week!) 4) There are many possible ways to arrange the shelves. 5) There is a flex shelf in the fridge part that can be rolled back, making room for taller items on the shelf below. 6) I like the side by side, as I don’t have to open two doors to get to certain items, as you must with a french door. 7). Seems to keep everything nice and cold. 8) Ice and water dispenser work fine.

I would give it a 5 star if not for a minor water drip coming from the ice dispenser ( Geek Squad coming to check the drip). I love the finger resistant finish and it is a very good looking side by side refrigerator. Roomy enough for a 21.9 cubic ft refrigerator.

I purchased this refrigerator in March 2021, I needed a counter depth for my small kitchen and there aren't many options out there. There are two things I would caution buyers about. 1. The capacity is about enough for two people, if you have a larger family or shop at a warehouse store you will have a tight squeeze. 2. You have to use XWFE filters with the RFD on them rather than XWF, while that doesn't seem like a big deal it is. Basically you can buy XWF filters for about $10 each ( 3 filters for $30 on the day I am writing this). XWFE which has the RFD chip in them are 1 filter for $50 for just one. That is a huge cost over the lifetime of this appliance. So your two options are basically no water filter at all or getting ripped off by GE for their filters for the lifetime of your appliance. Other than that it has worked well over the past year, the lighting is bright and it fits well in my smaller space.

Product being Counter Depth is a real change from a full size unit. It does effect the load and use so be aware. The unit has a slight high pitch noise at times which is annoying. The largest concern that at times items like ice cream are soft like it's doing a defrosting, settings say they are in check. The doors don't shut without a good push and leveling the unit is a bear on a level floor.

Large capacity, easy exterior ice/water dispenser. Like the tip forward freezer door storage.

Great refrigerator and fits beautifully works perfectly. Shelves are vreat.

Don't know what happened but the refrigerator never worked. The installation team brought the new refrigerator, got a glass of water from the door, and said "...it works". We moved all our food into the new refrigerator but it never started cooling and we lost all our food. We returned it as defective. The pickup team said "...we got it to work", However, we had lost trust and returned the refrigerator. It's nice, and we would've kept it if it had worked when it was installed. This may have been an installation mistake.

First one delivered was bad. Second one delivered was perfect

Although it is a GE Profile product it is not the same quality as the GE Profile refrigerator I replaced. Doors are thinner and do not close as securely. Inside components do not seem as durable.

Great help in finding the frig to fit my spacer. Frig has good storage space---ice maker is a bit noisy

Switched from french door refrigerator to side by side. Much better fit for how I use a refrigerator. I disliked having to open 2 doors on the french door one to access things. Seemed like a waste of electricity to me. Much happier with this GE and especially that the shelves in the refrigerator are all adjustable.

Good solid product. User friendly and looks great in our kitchen.

GE Profile has always been our choice for refrigerators and this one fits the bill and counter depth.

This is a great refrigerator/freezer side by side. love the many shelves and containers on doors. the display works great

I bought this GE Profile to replace the GE Profile that we last purchased in 2006. This version is WOEFULLY INFERIOR. In fact, I'm returning it and will not buy a GE Profile again. The quality has seriously dropped. The finish and basic shape of the fridge (now curved front and curved handles) looks awkwardly OLDER than the 2006 GE Profile that we had to replace. Plus the finish looks more like fake stainless rather than actual stainless. The 2006 GE Profile (fully wrapped stainless) was bright stainless. The 2022 GE Profile no longer comes fully wrapped, and the "stainless" is dark, almost gray, and has a plastic like quality. It's just a foil covering, not real stainless. My 2006 GE Profile was not magnetic. This 2022 GE Profile is magnetic. It also no longer matches the bright finish of my other GE Profile kitchen appliances. I hate it. It's cheap. Tacky, Absolute crap. I definitely will not buy again. Shame on you, GE. Do better.

The delivery was great, but the customer needs more advance warning for the delivery time. The customer needs more than a 12 hour window. Because up to the last minute it was 7:00am-7:00pm window. the delivery itself was great!
