Very quiet. It’s a dishwasher and does what it’s meant to do.

Multiple issues immediately. First, this was replacing a three year old GE dishwasher. Not sure if it was Best installation, but this door does not close well even though it's the same size as the last one. It is twice as loud. The soap door does not open. There is always water int he bottom. It does not dry well, not even glasses after two hours..

Hi there,
We're terribly sorry to hear about the different issues your dishwasher is having and understand how much of a pain that is to deal with. That's definitely not something we want for our customers to experience. We do have a few troubleshooting articles that can address some of the issues mentioned. For all of these articles, you can go to our site and search the name of the article, then go to the SUPPORT tab. For your soap door not opening, search "Dishwasher - Detergent Cup Did Not Open". While it is normal to see some water at the bottom of your dishwasher, if you're noticing an excess amount, look up "Dishwasher - Not Draining". Finally, if the dishwasher is not drying well, look up "Dishwasher - Poor Drying". We hope all this information is helpful to you. If you need any additional assistance, please be sure to let us know. Mike@GEA

After 3 different people came in and out of the house and replaced the broken unit - the newest of the units is extremely loud. Quoted as 39 dba - it may have been on day 1 and actually the first broken unit was that quiet. The new one however is extremely loud and beyond annyoing.

Worst dishwasher I've ever owned

Within the first year of installation, I had to have a repairman come 3 times to replaced parts. Luckily it was under warranty, but was still annoying. Dishwasher would not disolve the soap and would not clean dishes consistently. Was given the run around about how my water might not be hot enough etc etc but I never had a problem with my old dishwasher, and I measured the water temp and it was fine. After the repairs it was better but still wouldn't always get things clean. Was told i needed to rinse my dishes very well before loading, and daily clean the trap in the dishwasher.
Fast forward 2 years, and the thing is completely dead. Just paid $500 parts and labor for a new repair; now they say it needs a new control board and the price for that is not worth it. I purchased this Oct. 2020. It is now January 2023, so this dishwasher lasted a bit over 2 years, and had problems throught. After spending $1400, and for what I thought was a top brand, I am very disappointed and would steer clear of this dishwasher.

Don't do it, you'll regret it. I've had 4 of this model so far, and each one has gone back out the door. I have a newly remodeled kitchen, and no dishwasher for months due to this piece of junk. Now I'm waiting on #5. Just an absolutely awful experience with GE. Want to lose your mind? Listen to their "hold" music for 45 minutes...you'll wake up in the loony bin.
