I love that the freezer is at the bottom, makes it easy for me to grab frozen goods when I’m in a hurry. The slate color gave our kitchen that cozy look. Also the auto fill! I just can leave my glass until it’s full effortlessly. ☺️ So far, so good! Would recommend for sure.

Good Fridge, Bad Ice Maker

The only downfall is that the ice maker is the size of an apple or two and only produces enough ice for maybe two drinks.

After about a year (just out of warranty of course) the little pins that hold the latch on the icemaker door started to break, but you could still close it if you were careful. Now they have broken completely off and I can't close the icemaker. It's currently being held shut with duct tape. That should not be necessary on a less than 2 year old $2500 appliance. I have to spend $120 on a new door if I want to be able to continue using it without being taped shut.

In door auto fill allows me fill a glass or container easily. Hoping this one lasts as long as the last one which was sold with the house. That one was ten years old and never had an issue.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we had ours for just under 4 months before it had to be replaced because the water dispenser drips (up to hours after i last got water), the mister in the freezer broke and caused everything to be frosted over. the auto sense feature only worked properly a handful of times and now i dont even try. also, the lighting makes the sides look yellowed. the ge repair man said he had never seen that before but noticed it too.

My favorite part is the freezer as there’s a compartment for pizza. My only con is the ice maker is too small and a little bit noisy.

The freezer section is very large which allows me to stock up on sale items. The water auto-fill feature allows filling up water bottles hands free.

We have only had it 5 months and it stopped! Disappointed that it takes 2 weeks to get someone to come out and repair and now another 2 1/2 weeks for repair person to come back out with the correct part. The repair people are from GE list. If we had waited for Best Buy we would have to wait until end of December. All of this is unacceptable!! The price we paid for this refrigerator we should not have to wait this long and especially have to go with out a refrigerator and live out of cooler and have to go buy a freezer so you don’t loose all your food!
