Love everything about this refrigerator. All the bells and whistles and then some. Ample space inside and the ice maker does not take up too much room. The door in door is one the best features along with the stand alone freezer compartment that can be set to a temperature’s than the edge ratio and freezer is amazing.

Great fridge overall. Love the middle section with its separate temp control. The back wall lights is awesome, I can see everything inside very clearly. Noise is not an issue, just a low hum when it’s on. Very adequate space inside. The build quality is great too.

We love th middle drawer and drawer freezer. Tons of room. Great service except some plastic wrap is embedded in its structure and difficult to remove. The service men removed most of it. Love it!

Looks amazing in our kitchen. Had an issue with the top freezer drawer not freezing things correctly which meant i had to throw some food away. I must have had the door open on accident but the door open alarm didnt sound. Great product just make sure you shut the freezer door nice and firm.

The Door Alarm feature is meant to help preserve food by making sure you’re alerted if the door/drawer is left ajar; the alarm won’t sound if the door is open between ½” to 3”, so we do recommend making sure the door is completely closed. If you have any further issues with items not staying frozen, you may want to make sure the gasket is sealing properly. Really good refrigerator i like the fact that it is very specious inside. All the features it offers are a plus, freezeer also love the space it offers. The only down fall i would say is when opening and closing the doors they don't have a smooth closing or opening you have to pull with minor force not a big deal but would have been nice to have

I love all the space it has.
Home Depot or Lowe’s couldn’t bet the price, even with the warranty.
The only down fall was we had to take an extra day off work. The frig was damaged in transit from the warehouse. Best Buy did make it right.

Purchasing this GE refrigerator was a no-brainer. My husband isn’t a wheelchair and having that extra drawer allows him the ability to get his every day items easily. Having the second door release so he can get his drink items easily as well was also a perk to purchasing this particular model. We’ve had it about a month and we couldn’t be happier.

This refrigerator is awesome. It actually keeps food cold. Even though it’s a bit smaller than the fridge it replaced, it seems roomier. There is certainly way more room inside of it for tall items. I don’t use the water or ice dispensers. My prior fridge was this gorgeous looking piece of garbage that never really kept my food cold. I completely regret having spent that much money on something that stopped cooling after only four years. I’m so glad that I learned about the GE Profile! So far, it has been wonderful!

Worst Appliance I have ever purchased and worst company to deal with for Customer service. I will NEVER buy another GE Product again based on the quality and the terrible customer service. Purchased the GE Profile 27.9 4 door refrigerator May 20, 2023. It went out beginning of August and we lost over $200 of groceries, I spent hours on phone calls trying to get it repaired and we had multiple technicians out multiple times, waited over a month on parts two times. Repaired Oct 10. Now December 12, its out again. Just spent another day on technician who has to come back and have parts ordered. On the phone with GE Customer Service again and all they want to do is send a small check to buy a mini fridge while we go through this again

When I got the fridge, I first noticed the freezer wont freeze. My meat was still soft. So I adjusted the setting to -3 degrees to make it colder. Then I noticed frost inside. This is a modern fridge, it should be no frost. I investigated and found out that the bottom freezer does not fully close. So 3 days of having this item, I called best buy. They suggested they could send a technician on Aug 2 or replace the item on Aug 3. My husband and I said we want the item replaced. It think we made the right choice. Because a few days after the call, I hear loud sounds like the freezer is working harder than it should because of the imperfect seal. I also see drops of water at the bottom. The problem was getting worst. Come Aug 3, they replaced our fridge. And this time around our fridge it perfect. I love it and I think it is worth the price we paid.

On paper, this refrigerator looks very good. However, mine was delivered faulty and damaged. GE will replace the faulty part but will not repair the damage because it is considered cosmetic and was not reported within 7 days.
The faulty part is the control damper for the convertible drawer. The drawer temperature remained well below freezing and typically around 22 deg F even when set at 42 degrees.
The "cosmetic" damage is insulating foam that was over sprayed onto the sealing surface for the door-in-door. This keeps the door from sealing fully. The spray is nearly the same color as the surface and I only noticed it by touch. It is clearly their problem and not something I did.
Submitting a repair request with GE is fast and easy and I got a visit very quickly as well. However, once the repair man submitted his report I had to call GE to find out how it was adjudicated. After the first call I thought I was being told the over sprayed part would be replaced along with the damper but then found out it would not because of the 7 day reporting requirement.
I will be returning this defective refrigerator to Best Buy for a replacement. Hopefully, the next one will be in better condition. I will have to closely inspect it upon delivery.
If you buy one of these, check the convertible drawer temperature since it apparently has a history of problems. And carefully look for "cosmetic" damage during the first week.
One last issue with Best Buy. I called them to ask about returning the item and was assured I could do that. While I was on hold with them I wanted to see the availability and noticed a price drop. I asked about a price match but was told that because I bought it at a discounted price I couldn't get the price match unless I actually returned the refrigerator. This makes no sense. Now that I've talked with GE and know I'm returning it I see that the price has gone up so I won't be getting the price match I requested two days ago. I've previously gotten price matches on items I bought on sale so it seems they just wanted to delay me since the price was going up in a day or so.
