Timer alarm plays a little jingle that is barely discernable from 10 feet away. From the next room it is impossible to hear. Replacing 20 year old GE Profile that had a normal alarm that could be heard 2 rooms away. The design engineers responsible for this fiasco should be fired. Only option now is going with a brand other than GE.

However, the spring broke on the door, and there were no replacement parts. The new oven is a perfect replacement. I've baked several cakes thus far (just took out two banana bread loaves), and all are just right. The microwave has taken some time to learn its features, but I'm enjoying it as well.

Don’t use self clean or convection

When using the convection mode my whole chicken never cook evenly. So I did a test with three probe thermometer and the top bottom and middle were like 25 degrees different. In April I decided to use the self clean option and the oven communication stop working so I call ge they couldn’t fix it so they replaced it. It took 3 months for them to replace my oven and it was the wrong color because my color was on back order.

It was scheduled for delivery on two separate occasions. The delivery and set up was cancelled at the last minute each time; with no explanation. Today is the 28th and it still remains undelivered!!

We reported immediately but after SEVEN months later BestBuy couldn't get us a replacement due to supply shortages so we had to cancel and buy something else.
