Love this cooktop. Top of the line, heats and cools down very quickly easy to maintain.
BestBuy contractor was unable to install it, I don't recommend using their service as they may very well not be equipped to do it correctly if the coutertop cutout is wider than the cooktop or some other customization is required for it to look nice.

Best Buyer Beware - GE Induction Cooktop

We purchased a GE Profile Induction Cooktop (P/N PHP9030SJSS) from Best Buy. Although the price was significantly higher for this technology we made the switch.
We realized within the warranty period that the large right-side burner was not boiling water quickly compared to the smaller watt burners; in fact water boiled on the large burner never really came up to a "rapid boil". I retrieved my Stop Watch and Cooking Thermometer and developed a test to demonstrate the short comings of the 3700 watt burner. I have determined through testing, the 3700 Watt burner has the same output, or less, than the 1800 watt burner!
After 4 visits from GE technical support including a burner swap, there was no measurable change in the performance of the large burner. The on-site service rep was professional and witnessed the low output of the burner. I did provide a video to GE with and overview of the shortcomings:

Jessica from GE Customer Relations has stated the equipment is “Working as designed”. I find it hard to believe, the engineering team from GE would put this inferior product on the market with this performance problem.
I am very disappointed with GE Customer Relations and their attempt to push this issue to the side. I do not recommend this product.
