Being able to remove the grating and having a flat top glass make it very easy to clean. The vent does not suck very well, but that is expected with the location of the vent being away from the front burners. It heats very well and change over to propane was pretty dang easy.

Absolute nightmare

Cooktop looks nice, can’t be converted to LP because no one, including BestBuy, can’t get the conversion kit. BestBuy tried to send the same scam artist installers to my house 4 times. The police responded to the last time. They took out the existing cooktop, tried to charge me more, then when I wouldn’t pay more, left me with a hole in my countetop. Will have to return this cooktop and find another solution. Will never buy another appliance from BestBuy.

Posted .We hate the hear that you're not having the best experience with your cooktop. The compatible LP Conversion Kit WB28X45706 should've been included with your unit. If you didn't receive the LP Conversion Kit, please PM/DM us on Facebook or Instagram with a copy of your review, any service confirmation/case numbers you may have, and the model/serial numbers of your cooktop so we can investigate further.

Impossible to clean or keep clean smears , streaks etc way to expensive . Sorry I purchased, I replaced stove top in less than a year over 2500 dollars waisted !

Posted .We're sorry you had difficulty keeping the cooktop clean. We strongly encourage the use of a ceramic glass cooktop cleaner. For additional information see our online support article titled: "Gas Range & Cooktop - Glass Cooktop Cleaning Instructions". Using other types of cleaning products may leave behind a residue the smears or leaves streaks on the glass.

We replaced an older GE profile that lasted us over 18 years. For downdraft cooktops I would recommend this over the stainless steel options due the stainless steel scratching and showing wear.

Somehow, we ended up with some odd ball dimensions compared to everyone else. But it's great to be unique!! Ended up purchasing this unit for my mother for Christmas when it was on sale. Also, had Total Tech install (very loyal Total Member). They did a fantastic job with the install and haul away of her old unit. The GE cooktop has raised grates that are easily removable. It makes cleaning the cooktop super easy and convenient.

Scam buying Open box item
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this GE profile cooktop from Marlton, NJ, Cooktop looks nice. When installer came they said it is missing many parts including burners, grills, downdraft with filter, and conversion kit for propane. Called BestBuy so many times, talked to different people for missing parts (how can they sale cooktop with missing parts?). They said parts will come with installer. Got call from installer again after a week that they are coming next day, we asked them whether they have all the parts but installer said part should be shipped to your house. Again called BestBuy but no one had any information about any parts. We bought 4 door refrigerators along with cooktop too. We cancelled all the orders and asked to refund all our money. Very disappointed/dissatisfied with the BestBuy service. Will never buy another appliance from BestBuy also recommending not buying anything from BestBuy/open box item- it’s all scam.
